My starter house was a bit of an expensive one, it was a circle house with a circumference of 9 blocks. The walls where made entirely of oak logs. the floor was made of stripped oak logs and the roof was made of thatch, later upgraded to glass because I figured out glass is pretty easy to get.

Does anyone know the max size a house can be in 1.18.5? I keep making little huts for myself, but they end up being cellars instead of houses. I have the hud mod if that helps (simple HUD? The name escapes me ATM...)
@JaybyrdePlays Жыл бұрын
i don't think that there is a max house size, technically speaking a really big house would be a mansion and a very big mansion is a palace and a fortified palace is a castle (in simple terms). there is also no game mechanic that checks to see if a space is a house, only if it could count as a cellar. the max cellar size is 7x7x7 blocks i believe, as long as your house is bigger than that the space will stop registering as being a cellar on your hud
@slarzyer Жыл бұрын
one thing i find... many people build the house too flat to the ground... raise it up a block or 2 and it keeps the roof from being "larger than the house" and it gives more of a life like appearance of a foundation
@JaybyrdePlays Жыл бұрын
great tip!
@DellariSafire6 ай бұрын
You could also be fancy and dig your house a block INTO the ground, this also lowers the houses height and can look cool if you do it right

Does anyone know if it's possible to rotate a chiseled block on a horizontal axis? Or flip it on a horizontal plane? I've tried it from any possible angle, from the top or from below and the top of the block just keeps being on top.
@JaybyrdePlays Жыл бұрын
sorry for the late reply i've been on hiatus, to my knowledge the blocks only rotate one way and you need to chisel accordingly, which means to change to that horizontal axis you would need to chisel a second block

You should put a hay bale in the corner, and a container of water. (Barrel? Trough? Bucket?) Lambo needs to keep his strength up! Next for you to do...riding lessons! 😁
@JaybyrdePlays Жыл бұрын
I'll need to figure out how to keep that they as well lol. But yes haybale will help with the look for sure. I def need riding lessons 😂
@thominaduncanson7596 Жыл бұрын
You need to know the size of Lambo's hit box to properly size his garage (stable). To use Minecraft horses as an example: the horses are 2 blocks long by 2 blocks tall by two blocks wide. If the horses rear up WITHOUT you riding them, they are 3 blocks tall. If you ARE RIDING the horses, when they rear up then "they + you" = 4 blocks tall. This means that an adequate stall within your stable for Minecraft horses will measure 4 blocks long by 4 blocks wide by 5 blocks tall. These interior measurements mean that you can ride your horse into the stall without hitting your head and taking damage, and you have room to easily dismount. For bigger stalls with a shallow pool for them to splash in, use 6 blocks long by 6 blocks wide by 6 blocks tall, with a 2x2 blocks (one block deep) of water sunk in the middle. Adjust these measurements for Lambo's size (because he looks like a big boy), then build his garage. 😁
@JaybyrdePlays Жыл бұрын
I'm definitely going to make my men's base garage a lot bigger like you have suggested, cz (sneak peak) I have found a lady Lambo and the two of them barely fit in there
