Well, I just finished the class and it was TREMENDOUS!!! cleared up and explained the hardest thing for me to grasp was "the rule of thirds". I've read it in several books and it was trying to decipher Sanskrit in the dark but, you explained it and it was very easy to understand. Thank you for filling the holes in my knowledge and it was a GREAT course. 🥰🥰🥰😁😁😁

I don't have any camera, but have interest in photography. I started the video late at night, watched till 1 hr mark. But felt sleep at some point and woke up 3am from the sound of video still blasting into my ears , and the video was about to end.🤣

I have the new Ryzen 9 9950x, the new Asus MB ROG X870E-E, RTX 3060 and 64GB DDR5 RAM and Lightroom is still struggling with large Sony RAW files. Lightroom has been patched for so many years, the code is not well written. It needs to be rewritten from the bottom up with the ability to use GPU's better.

I shot some test images in RAW...imported with MAGIC preset active. Worked great but only RAW files, it didn't create the unedited files..so instead of 60 files I only had the 30 original files imported.

Probably a little late to ask this question but do you or anyone else looking at the comment section have any suggestions around subscribing to Adobe for additional space to store camera photos when doing something like described in this video. Seems when i try something like this i quickly run out and the photos stop downloading. Super great video for this topic! Very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to make and post the video!

I miss the keyword or tagging feature. Naming files to refer to subjects of the image is ridiculous. All very well if there is only one subject in the image, but suppose having photos of your family and want to be able to see all images with certain persons on it, would you then rename the file to a list of persons ? And if you would, what should be the sequence and what if you only want the photos of two or three of them? That is why keywords have been invented centuries ago and I am very surprised not to see them in Neo. I would make this my priority 1 feature addition

Thanks for the tip. But I already did that for this video, and it works fine in my headphones. Sorry it's not working for you.

I love this. I did get cold watching this. It's cold here today but not quite as cold there. You touched on something that I have difficulty with, cold fingers/hands. It really is painful for me to shoot in very cold weather for any length of time. Yes, I have gloves. I still, even for gloves made for shooting, find it difficult to operated the camera.
@ParkerPhotographic18 күн бұрын
I've gone through many pairs of gloves in the last few years. This year I splurged on these; www.theheatcompany.com/en-us. They're expensive. But they work. I only did the first two layers (not the shell).

I may have missed it, but what is the difference between AI 2 and AI 3? Is there an advantage one over the other?
@ParkerPhotographic19 күн бұрын
New, advanced AI models for noise reduction and sharpening. If you already have 2 and it accomplishes what you need then, there isn't a need to upgrade. Unless, you want the new features? You can always download a free trial of the latest version to take it for a spin to see if the new AI models work better for you.

It's about discovery. Discovering an editing tool that can fix common issues in photos; digital noise and unsharp photos. Use it or don't. It's up to you. Why the negativity?

Not even a hour in. I've learned alot. I entered really only knowing smartphone photography. This is extremely well made and there are prompts for personal "homework" that you can follow along with and cement what you are learning. Saved.

Perhaps why I like my in body lens correction for JPEGS! Just have to make sure I get focus, etc correct and they are ready to go! Low ISO is not as critical in newest cameras 2-3 years? New sensors etc are making editing less necessary. Examples ISO100-400 online show little difference. Otherwise a good video about using editing. Applies to a range of editing brands.
