I am not a pro and I am trying to learn… but what happened to me when I meditate past the 4 Jhana is that I get to a state where I lose all the function of mind … I lose outline of my body in the mind and has no thoughts and enters a large infinite void … then I cannot say what happen next because I usually then wake up in a lower state that I hit at the high then come out of meditation slowly so. Formless mean just that. I have no idea what nirvana is

It’s funny, for anyone who’s experimented with psychedelics, if you take a high enough dose you will get the sense of being one with everyone and everything in the universe.
