The second game is one of my all-time favorites, it's one of the few games I replay every 5 years or so. I recommend it highly. I don't think I've ever seen the first game around but I'm definitely picking this up when I'm in a platformer mood.

Full disclosure: I convinced my parents to get the SF2 Tiger Electronics game for me because of that commercial, and I pretended that I liked it out of fear that they wouldn't buy me anything else I asked for (because they had already gotten my the Batman one, and knew I didn't like it).
