I grew up in the D/FW metroplex. Back in the 80s, people lived in Plano and commuted to Dallas for work. In the 90s, people were moving north to Frisco, but still commuting to Dallas for work. Now, people live as far north as McKinney, Allen and Sherman/Denison and commute to Plano to work. All of the little farm communities from the 80s are now subdivisions for the ever-expanding Meteoplex.
