Wow that was great! My first close up of a USA Loco! I’m eyeing a USA ALCO PA / PB unit but I may go Rio Grande F7 after watching this! Thanks! 👍🏽🇺🇸

I want to make one big enough that you can put two boat engines in it hop inside close the lid. And sale around. You know how many people will be looking at that thing like oh it's a drone and not realizes a person inside of it.😂 People actually used to do that in the old days too.

Questions Did the engines you have here, did it require those motor wise to pull this train?
@GardNRailCrucible8 ай бұрын
Not so much motor necessity as traction necessity: the only reason I’ve got distributed power on this consist at all is because the weight of the train kept causing the lead car to jump the track through curves and switches. Otherwise, I’d have run this train with one engine or maybe two at the front for looks.

Kato m1 is 12 3/8" and v6 is 13 3/4" radius. The big boy is supposed to be able to handle 11" according to Kato.

Hello, Thank you for running this test using the 4014 Big Boy on the inside track. After seeing this video I'm a little confused about something here. I'm interested in trying out my 1st N-Scale Double TrackLayout and I think the Set is from the Kato V11 Please correct me if I'm wrong about this information. What I would like to know about this particular set would be if the 4014 Big Boy could run strictly on the inside portion of the V11 Double Track Set running with Maxi Containers going alongside the outer radius Track using basically the same type of cars either in the same direction or in the opposite direction. I'm curious as to see what happens 😊in the final results.
@stevehughes54035 ай бұрын
The Kato V11 is even wider radius, the outside is about 16 inches the inside about 15 inches. So any n scale train layout will run great. It has the super elevated curves. it is the only track I ever put together I had to read the directions. The cures have small arrows underneath, so arrows hook together and no arrows hook together.
