Liberals in today’s world use ever more government intervention to force people to accept social upheavals that they don’t believe in and don’t want to support. Liberals want government to control more aspects of people’s lives, not less. Classical liberalism, which is more aligned with Libertarianism today, wants less government over reach in society. Liberals support growing the size of government and support larger and larger budget deficit spending, along with the inevitable increases in all forms of taxation. Conservatives support smaller government with lower taxation which, in a perfect world that never quite exists, allows people to take care of themselves and their families without needing the ever expanding social welfare state that Liberals support.

I’m going to lay it out in plain spoken terms! The University of Tennessee is about two simple things: 1. People, 2. Opportunity. This University has for over 70 years been a place of opportunity! The opportunity to prove one’s self, look at the history of coaching hires. In today’s modern world of ‘what have you done for me lately’ mentality, many University are pressured to make Big Name Proven Coaching hires and that’s a huge financial risk. Tennessee sees it a bit differently, gives a person the opportunity to grow. Just like you when you started that first job with not much experience. Remember that? I am hopeful she's the right hire, but I'm skeptical. I'd like to know if Kara Lawson was offered or considered. If Kim Caldwell can't recruit nationwide, we're going to have the same results. We can't forget that Pat Summitt was the top recruiter in the nation during her tenure.

The AD believes she is the Coach to lead our program upward. I will trust his judgement until I see things occur that changes my mind. Our roster is weak with the players leaving and how important they were to our season we just finished. Recruiting, portal activity and player development are crucial to our success. I say give this new Coach three seasons to see what she can accomplish. Go Big Orange!!!
