So legit. Out of curiosity, how much did this whole trip cost?
@SerhiyMTB3 ай бұрын
Hi, we drove there and stayed in a van so we had to pay for gas and groceries so not too expensive if you plan before hand. They also have shuttles strait from the airport to Whistler so don't have to rent a car if you fly there. Driving took as around 38 hours to get there. Whistler is huge there are around 70 trails to explore so you need at least a week to stay there.

yes, Whistler is beginner friendly. There around 70 trails to explore for all type of riders. We rode a lot of double black trails and they not as hard as you would imagen. Definitely there are more intermediate riders then the pros.

Racing in it this year. I’m torn on what bike to use: my full squish Trek or my hardtail Santa Cruz. Any suggestions?
@SerhiyMTB6 ай бұрын
I would suggest to use the hardtail because this race is about pedaling really fast and not so much about going down. If you know DTE it is really flowy so hardtail will du just fine.
@mittenmod6 ай бұрын
@@SerhiyMTB appreciate the advice. I was leaning towards the hardtail. The Trek is a decked out Fuel EX8 with fox 36 and a dpx2. Figured that might be overkill for this

Great riding Serhiy. You were flying! I ride Stony quite a bit but haven't worked up to those speeds yet. Your collarbone must be all healed up. That part where you commented about breaking your collar bone made me think about never forgetting the section there where I broke my hand. Somehow those things get ingrained in your head. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, usually I am slower too but I put on some fast rolling tires (Arden race) and they allow me to go much faster. Just something I have been experimenting with. That place where I broke my collar bone always brings bad memories.
