I was living in Wiesbaden about 24 miles (39 km) from Frankfurt and Rhein Main in 1960 when Elvis was dating Priscilla from H.H. Arnold HS. It was a memorable time.

J'ai entendu cette chanson pour la première fois sous le titre Wooden Heart chantée par Elvis Presley dans le film G.I. BLUES et j'adore le rythme et la mélodie de cette chanson. Puis, j'ai découvert cette chanson sous le nom original de Muss i denn en allemand. Par la suite, j'ai découvert que cette chanson était chantée à la fois en Allemand, en Français et en Anglais par Vicky Léandros, Mireille Mathieu, Dalida, Nana Mouskouri, Helmut Lotti et plusieurs autres artistes. Il est intéressant de noter qu'une chanson peut être reprise par de nombreux artistes dans plusieurs langues quand le rythme et la mélodie plaisent à l'oreille. En Français, elle est chantée sous le titre T'aimerai toujours. Il y en a de belles versions jouées avec des cornemuses comme le KZbin suivant : kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3SUlXuPf9aksKs Bref, j'adore, quelque soit la version, chantée ou instrumentale.
