How do you secure the braid knot when you reach the end of the twisting?

I usually don't secure the ends of the hair because I ensure to twist it properly. It your twist is tight enough, it won't unravel

I appreciate your feedback. It may look tight but it's not. One thing I always do when making hair is to ask my clients about how it feels on their scalp. Thanks anyways for dropping your thought.

My god I'm no expert but this is dreadful. Those braids are ridiculously tight. Thats just a disaster in the making. So much tension on the roots is horrible. This person will suffer from this. Im Irish and have no experience as such apart from watching other hairstylist with this hair type and this is awful. You can literally see the scalp SWELL and PULL. Awful..

What makes the cornrows not lying flat instead it flips over?

To make it lay flat, you will grip the hair from overhead instead of under, you fingers are doing the work over and not under so that it faces down wards as you braid. That’s actually the easiest for me to do on my own hair but I prefer the style she’s doing.

Your Cornrows will not lay flat if you are not gripping the hair from the root of the scalp. In other words, to achieve a flat cornrow, you will have to grip the hair from the root and not from halfway the hair. Maybe I should make a video explaining this for better understanding.
