this concert was the best of Nightwish

I HAVE tried to like the new NW, but even ignoring all the hate towards Tarja on many of those videos, I can NOT stand Anette's voice in live performances. Studio recordings of her aren't bad, although I highly doubt I'd ever buy DPP and play it in my car, whereas I'd have no problem listening to any older NW album while driving around town or on the highway. They really screwed up when they fired her, and should have taken the advice of those who told them they should talk it over.

I like Tarja, and I like the original NW, so when I see someone post the typical lies about her and call her a bitch, it pisses me off. Same bullshit, different day.

It was the band who chose to treat her that way, I don't think she asked them to ignore her and treat her like shit. These are grown men acting like little boys, and thought nothing of mistreating a founding member of the band who was a huge reason why they were so successful to begin with, over petty jealousy, spitefullness, and ego. They thought they could just dump her like a piece of garbage, and did. Today, they are NOTHING close to what they were with her in the band.

And lips, as I said, shithead Tuomas never even spoke to her about that concert, and twisted the words of her husband in order to make idiots like you hate her (and/or to spread bullshit about her). Yeah, you surely are a genius aren't you.

SHE was a huge factor in their success. If she hadn't paved the way, NW would still be playing in tiny nightclubs in Kittee, and nobody here would be arguing about them because nobody here would have heard of them.

She never said that to Tuomas. She informed the band that she would do one more album and one more tour, then try a solo album and tour. Hell, Tuomas and ALL of the other members had their own bands on the side as well, but when Tarja wants to try it, they fire her. Yeah, go ahead and believe their bullshit. Tarja, Tuomas, and Emppu founded the band in 1996. NW is NOT NW without her, same as if they lost either Tuomas or Emppu. Hell, Jukka is pretty irreplaceable too.

You find End of an Era to be AWKWARD? Hell, have you EVER seen Anette perform? She performs like she's never been onstage before, whereas Tarja has HUGE stage presense and acts like a total pro. In fact, End of an Era is probably one of the BEST concerts ever captured on video. You seem like a huge Anette fantard, and have no qualms about bashing Tarja just because it makes you feel like a "true fan".

Is this sort of idiotic bullshit that pisses me off, and makes me wonder how fucking stupid people are in the world to hate a person because someone posts some bullshit lie about them. I bet you never even read the fucking letter, you just believe what someone else told you. If you DID read the letter, go back to school and study up on reading comprehension.

Tuomas and Ewo then used THAT, which was an answer to a question as to what she did in her free time, and twisted it into a "reason for the cancellation", where; A) The show was NOT cancelled B) The answer was to the question of what Tarja did in her free time C) Neither Tuomas nor Ewo spoke to Tarja, so how would either of them know what she WANTED?

On top of all that, Tuomas never even spoke to Tarja about it, his manager, Ewo, emailed her husband. After being a bit shocked that they added the concert without asking Tarja, he said that she had free time that day with nothing else scheduled. Ewo then asked what she did in her free time, and Marcelo replied that she would hang out with friends, rehearse for her Christmas concert, go to the movies, etc.

That is a lie, and it never happened. Read the fucking letter again, it doesn't say she DID cancel, Tuomas simply ACCUSES her of WANTING to cancel. The concert in question, the show at the Rockefeller in Oslo on September 5, 2005, was performed as scheduled, even though they sold the tickets to the show before even asking if Tarja could add it to her schedule, as it was not on the original schedule. She performed the fucking concert. Get your facts straight, bitch.

I agree with Geth, Tarja was good BUT there are better out there! I doubt that the new singer will hurt the band. I think that it will expand Nightwish to other places that aren't so big on nightwish!
