I've always thought they are priced really well. I live in Japan and unfortunately the yen is weak, so I can't buy a lot. ($60 USD feels like $100 here)

Some allergies are really bad. Like for gel on nails...there is a liquid that is used in gel polish and it is used to activate acrylic too is called monomer(like MMa and EMA and such. MMA is illegal in some states!) So you have to wear gloves, and for filling gel down you have to wear a N95 mask to because gel it too fine and it gets ecerywhere. Use great air ventilator. Invest in your health when you are working with anything that is even remotely suspicious. Most of the times there is no going back and if you get allergies it is game over. I know some people who had to kiss their jobs goodbye because they didn't want to wear gloves.

I have this one: www.woodcraft.com/products/pressure-pot-for-resin-casting-california-air-tools I wouldn't cheap out on this mostly for safety reasons.

Is this system 3D printed? Im trying to print it but the “+” in the master base (for example) doesnt finish well and my keycap isnt going in. Any suggestions?
@witch50010 ай бұрын
i know this is kinda old but just in case you still need help, yes this system is 3d printed Im not an expert but ive printed this successfully and am using it so maybe i can help you troubleshoot what kind of printer are you using?

You can use an x acto to swipe away the excess resin for your makers mark 🙂
@CosmoCaps Жыл бұрын
oooh interesting. This doesn't damage the silicone?
@CosmoCaps Жыл бұрын
*CORRECTION*: the nightcaps keycap featured in this video actually has a makers mark on it. It’s on the back of the sculpt instead of the internal!! Goes to show how creative you can get with your makers marks!!! Thank you Lazer for bringing this to my attention 🙏

do your sculpting have any fingerprints on it? or your clay is hard enough that it doesn't left any just by rubbing on it? I use different clay and it's really hard to get rid of it
@CosmoCaps Жыл бұрын
Hmm.. I think monster clay is pretty good. You can get it pretty smooth. I think fingerprints is less of an issue.

Great video! I’d get rid of the cabosil for the stem. It’s probably causing your bubble issues. I don’t think you will notice if you keep the mold at an angle at all time. Keep up the good work!
