I grew up nearby. I went to every NASCAR race from 2007 to 2016. I thought the track was underrated. The speed of the cars and lot of places to pass were it's strongest features. But I was a diehard fan and I knew almost all of the drivers well. Also, I paid for the best seats, so I could see the whole track. I could clearly see the Tony Stewart Joey Logano dust-up at the end of the 2013 race. I live in Arizona now. Went to the Avondale track a couple of times, but I wasn't impressed. So I'm not happy about the track torn down, just like the tracks at Ontario and Riverside. I hope the new track is successful.

I'm sorry to say and this isn't my bias for Kevin Harvick because I've been a fan since he stepped into the #29, but look at what he accomplished in 2014 when he joined Stewart -Hass Racing 1st season with a brand new team, and hell if you wanna be technical a basically new organization and Kevin Harvick went out and dominated the season and won the Nascar Cup Championship. I don't know about everyone else but in my eyes and my opinion Kevin Harvick carried the entire Organization of Stewart-Hass Racing without Kevin Harvick being apart of that organization they would've sold their charters or at least 3 of the 4 charters had Kevin Harvick not been there. I still believe that Kevin Harvick is 1 of those special drivers like Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, etc just to name a few. But Harvick did some things that most other special drivers didn't do and that was rewrote records in many different categories.

My points exactly I've been saying since middle of last season that if Hailie Deegan was to land somewhere that has good equipment, great team all around including a Crew Chief that knows what he's doing and an entire organization behind HER that BELIEVES in THEIR DRIVER. If you give all these things to Hailie Deegan I guarantee that she very quickly will have all the doubters that talked shit now saying their apologies to her. Give someone like her that is talented a great team that'll back her up and I bet great things happen.

They've long since given the middle finger to actual race fans. Playoffs in racing is idiotic, and judging by the Darlington ratings, it's not helping them in the slightest.

I think it would awesome to see the 43 car win (AGAIN) at Darlington and see the 43 and 21 both in the playoffs? Many times in the late 60s and early 70s the 43 and 21 went to battle. Now that would be CRAZY GOOD for NASCAR in my humble view. Great Video ....
