What about diesel spray down to prevent asphalt from sticking? Most jobs that require that size paver aren’t done in a day and paver will need to stay on site which cause issues for recharging.. And imagine running out of battery during a job and having to wait hours or the next day to continue, rather than fuel up within a matter of minutes. Some things are better the way they were intended to be. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

We use the 8520’s, we use tarp motors and build a bracket to bolt into the existing holes so we can run the 8520 with two people so we don’t have a screw man behind the operator… it works good but I know yall can come up with something so we can stop doing this to every paver… come up with a power screw, we’re not on the interstates we do parking lots and subdivisions mainly.. we put down about 270k tons a year with an 8520 I feel like we push them to the max to do it.. they hold up though ill give leeboy that

My apartment complex is redoing the parking lot. I just walked past this machine and Googled it, being curious about what it does; I came across this video. And how freakin cool is that! Riding on the back of the machine, it's laying asphalt so perfectly. Like a big sheet of dark chocolate. I'm so very intrigued.
