This channel deserves more views. Most people in the UK don't know how loyal & brave the Sikhs were in many British wars, including the Boer War, WW1, & WW2. Four VCs from just one regiment speaks volumes. Nothing like it in modern British history.

He has great contribution to the Muslims of Glasgow in the shape of Glasgow central mosque
There was a beautiful photo vlog with stories of life of Abdul Rashid Minhas in Scotland that one of his kids had made, sadly the page is not here anymore.

Being a British born citizen of Indo Mauritian Heritage, this story made me immensely proud. We Indians, along with other members of the British Empire fought alongside our English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh family to free the world from Nazi tyranny. Unfortunately our story is mostly unknown and unheard. I hope that this will change. I suggest that the BBC start to tell our tales of unwavering loyalty and bravery in the face of adversity for the freedom of all. ❤️🇬🇧🇲🇺🇮🇳

God Bless you Mrs Malik. You are an incredible woman and a pioneer. Your story is amazing and heart-warming. Being born and bred in Pollokshields I can relate to your story and I know your close very well - played in it as a wee boy in the 60's. Maybe I'd seen you then. Thank you so much for sharing this and thank you to Colourful Heritage for all the great work you are doing. Keep it up.

This is a wonderful story. I used to live right down the road from Taviton St. Even though I knew about Noor I never knew she had lived so close by. I will return to London and visit Gordon Square to visit her memorial. Her story is a beautiful one. Thank you for telling it.
