Actually, believe it or not the concept was to catch your fall in case you fell backward, you could grab the Bar. Problem is, you can also fall forward and side to side, which may not help but in the patent design of the Cabinet, that's what it is used for. It started to spread because one day, someone was lazy and decided to hold the bar for Max 300 Expert, turns out a discovery was made. Holding the Bar made you less tired, less balance required, and you can read at higher speeds to space the arrows out making that much easier for gimmicks and spacing during stream runs. Forum boards like ddr freak and IGN vn boards lit up with the discovery, and the rest is history.

Ой, факап. Хотя описанию видео он не противоречит - склейки-то нет :) Я все-таки склонен считать его элементом оформления, на автомате сделал и не заметил. Если, что убрать его - дело минуты. Надеюсь, организаторы не будут заострять на этой мелочи внимание, она явно не основообразующая.

@chaozevo yeah, PIU is all about saving as much movement as possible. Check some vids from pros and watch their feet. Try to bend your knees more and keep yourself closer to the ground, especially if you use the bar. It will help to keep some stamina and to maintain balance as well.

@gogaxsalas11 nope, you're wrong. All hugs are kept for the backstage. We all know each other for a really long time and we communicate a lot. And it could be kinda stupid to cheer each other with a handshake. Really, why? In fact, we hug a lot, if it does not involve pretty much wet people :3

@DNovikov i still kinda find it difficult since even playing both i still have to use the bar on piu or else io cant maintain the balance,and sadly i still put my whole foot ont arrow....it´s more of grabbing experience i guess....but i´ll grab your advice!

@Culterin that's about being NATIONAL champion. Unless you're russian it makes no sense. This guy does not pretend to be the best player in the world. By the way, he got 4th or 6th place at the last Euro ITG champ in a nobar competition. That's a pretty good result in my opinion.

@AwesomePossumReviews keep your feet on the brackets between blue and red arrows - thats a default stance throughout any song. Press blues with your toes, reds - with heels. Avoid pressing it with the whole foot - if you do this, you lose a lot of speed. Center should be pressed by a heel too, but it's not really neccessary, you will figure it out later. Turn when you need to turn. Thats all. As an experienced ddr player you shouldnt have any serious problems with the balance.
