Technically RE1 (1996) is where it all began. It's worth playing the original game even if you've completed the remake, because most of the puzzles are different, and some of the enemies are harder (especially the Hunters). Plus, the terrible voice acting is unintentionally funny.

Amathyst, so you’ll know on your next play as Chris, once Chris shoves the flash grenade in the opponents mouth, you don’t have to fire your gun. The grenade goes off on its own after a few seconds, it’s an instant death for the enemy, so save your bullet, the grenade totally decapitates them.

This is a pleasant surprise I had no idea that Amathyst was going to come back this soon to RE1 as Chris. Can’t wait to see her play this again, along with more Resident Evils. Amathyst btw, you and I do have something in common. I only intend to play RE7 once as well, personally I hated the game too scary, actionless RE game. RE7 without a doubt is my bottom 3 of all RE’s, I rather play RE0 over that a game. Most people usually complain about RE0, but I’ll happily play that over RE7 anytime.

I hated the ending but I really enjoyed watching your playthrough anyway. I already knew the way the story went and wasn't planning to watch until the end but you are really fun to watch. You're pretty clever I think, I find you really funny when you mean to be, and I love most of all the way you explain your thought process behind the decisions you make. You're not just randomly making a choice, you have reasons and you want us to understand the reasoning behind the choices. I really appreciate that in a gaming chennel. I'm definitely sticking around for more. Thanks for sharing your gameplay

As far as being scary, I agree that RE7 is the scariest for me as well. Unfortunately I get motion sickness with 1st person games and have to greatly limit my playtime so I've only played that once as well. Great start with Chris! His playthrough is a little harder having a more limited inventory space, etc but having played as Jill already you got this!

There's a going theory that, when Cloud deflected Sephiroth, he created a branching timeline for Aerith to survive in. She dies in the main “Rebirth” timeline while surviving in this “Deflection” timeline. The evidence to this is the rainbow/prism effect that occurs at the moment of deflection. This same effect is used to show every time Zack makes a decision a rainbow/prism effect occurs. Tifa can see both timelines at once as she runs up to where Cloud and Aerith are. It's suspected that she can see both because she fell into the Gongaga reactor and was exposed to the Mako/Lifestream. As for her not being able to see both later, it's suspected that she can only see both in the moment it's happening because she didn't have as intense of a Mako exposure as Cloud did for his SOLDIER process. This is why Cloud can see the tear in the sky, similar to the one in Zack's timeline, and no one else can. Some people say that all of this is just happening in Clouds head because he's losing it. However, FF7 Rebirth Ultimania has been released and the Devs have commented that, instead of the story being narrated by the unreliable narrator (Cloud), we have an unreliable world. Also, the Devs have implied that they intend for their to be a happy ending for all the characters in Part 3.

I don't like Stan much. He's slimy, and Chris is just horrible. I didn't get the whole jealousy thing with Jaime, but I'm guessing they're pretty young teenagers, maybe 14 or 15 years old based on their personalities, so I guess it's "normal" for an insecure teenage boy to be jealous when his girlfriend is showing intrest in another boy, perhaps? It's a bit forced but these games are always like that. I think it's on purpose. They're supposed to be like cheesy horror movies, right? Personally, I think he should stop being jealous and take the opportunity to get out of that relationship as quickly as possible. He can do better than a freak who wants to play with actual body parts from a murder victim just for fun. I liked your choices and the thought process behind them. That doesn't mean they're the best choices cos my judgement has never been great lol. You're keeping everyone alive so far. Good for you. Keep it up!

I think you have good survival instincts like at the end you didn't risk hurting Jaime by not going near the monster. No wonder everyone lived in your last horror game. I'm curious about what the cutting room floor feature does after you'll finish the game. I think you can show an alternate final scene in case of a worst decision if you want to use it
