That was incredible 30min. I wish there were more gardens like this around the world, especially now when there is so artificially and deliberately created chaos and anger by people who only care about themselves and not about others and not about nature.

Settle down, sir/madame. Movement is NOT a waste of time. And this video is easily 40 years old. He was positive, funny, and he cared about the people he was trying to reach - no “boot camp” agro exercise B.S. with Richard, just infectious joy and genuine kindness for ALL kinds of people (and bodies). I’ll miss him!

He was my favorite aerobics instructor. In high school our coach tried every aerobics tape she could find and we hated them all. When she put on Richard Simmons.. we ALL got A's and begged her to allow us to keep using his tapes for our gym classes..

This is beautifully explored, I would really like to see an example of a Japanese style garden but in a humid , tropical climate. The natural native plants in these spaces grow exuberantly and dont often fit the tamed aesthetics of Japanese styles gardens which originates in a temperate regions of the world.
@bensmith2194 Жыл бұрын
I think that would be awesome. Using these principles, this art form could be used in a tropical environment. I would love to see this done! We recently got to visit the spiral galaxy garden in Kentucky. His design of the universe reflects something found in nature that most of us would never even think of when designing a Japanese garden.
@AlGreenLightThroughGlass Жыл бұрын
I think the key here is influenced and inspired by principles rather that slavishly following 'rules'. Creativity never stands still so ideas like incorporating native plants and adapting to local conditions sets up a new direction that in turn becomes a part of the evolving canon.
