I think people are forgetting just how boring the UCL group stages used to be. Every group had 1-2 teams that everyone knew would go through and 1 team that got stomped by everybody. Usually only a few groups where it was close between 2nd/3rd place teams

They won't just hold on, they will improve. When Danilo and Sangare come back, they will be that much stronger. All of their subs are impact players, not simply backups (Williams, Silva, Sosa, Boly, Morato, Moreno, Ward-Prouse, Awoniyi). Silva and Sosa can both match the speed of Elanga and Hudon-Odoi and have connected twice as subs, most importantly when they salvaged a draw at Brighton. Neco Williams completely shut down Salah. Morato would be a starter on most any other PL squad. Most importantly, their defensive style of play under Nuno has limited injuries and kept their starting XI largely intact from week to week, which contributes to their consistency week to week.

Technically Forest has never won the Champions League either. What he meant was winning the European Cup twice and the top league of England once. (In stats that counts as winning the Premier League). Here’s an example: Manchester United has won the top league 20 times, with 13 of those being the Premier League.

wasnt it the 21/22 season? in that case it was 2021 his prime, in early 2022 he went to african cup and downgraded after...he scored two puskas level goals back to back against city and Watford right around the same time he did a hat trick in old trafford. he was near messi level that period
