You have to consider the context of that hadeeth before claiming whether or not it's applicable nowadays in the secularized world. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu aleyhi wa Sallam) said this for the society where social structure was based on Islamic paradigm. How can a woman provide for her children and focus on them if she has no support from her family? By sending her children to public school, joining the corporate world and free-mixing with disbelieving men? Don't manipulate people with ahadeeth taking them out of context. Mere memorization of texts doesn't make you knowledgeable, with all due respect.

So many people sympathetic to Palestinian cause, the genocide in Gaza, brutal oppression in Gaza, etc are demonstrating in the USA and Western World. They pray for the liberation of Palestine. We welcome such protests and demonstrations to highlight the genocide of Palestinians and to stop the genocide. But whether the so called Muslim and Arab Scholars living in Gulf countries and outside have ever protested against the near total cowardice and surrender of the ARAB MONARCHS who are silently watching the genocide in Gaza. In fact some of the Monarchs in the Gulf are even helping the terrorist Israel state directly or indirectly. Now the HAJJ is going to be performed in a week. Muslims from all over the world will be gathering in Mecca to perform the HAJJ. But whether they will give any message or protest to the ruling Monarch that the Muslims all over the world are not happy with the situation in Gaza. Whether at least they will wear a black ribbon to protest against the cowardice of the Arab Monarch silently. The answer is "NO" THE HERD MENTALITY IN THE MUSLIM WORLD IS VERY MUCH CLEAR. THEY DON'T CRITICALLY THINK AND PROTESTS WHERE IT IS REQUIRED EVEN BY NON VIOLENT MEANS. THE MUSLIM POPULATION IN THE WORLD IS 200 TIMES THAN THE JEWS BUT THEY ARE SUFFERING A LOT FROM THE GENOCIDAL ZIONISTS. After one month the holy month of Moharram is coming for the remembrance of 72 progeny of the Prophet Muhammed S.A.W. (PBUH) who were martyred. At present more than 37000 Palestinians have been killed (MARTYRED) in Gaza in a ghastly manner which is unimaginable, more than 80000 have been wounded, many of them are incapacitated, some have died of thirst and hunger, etc Whether any Muslim Scholar / Maulanas from the Gulf countries or outside like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, USA, Europe, etc have anytime given a call to Arab and Gulf countries citizens to protest against the cowardice of Arab Monarchs....??? The answer is NO. it's so Pathetic.

Fasting Monday-Thursday can help a Muslim who practice it become more disciplined in everything that is done every day. This is because when fasting you will feel cared for and watched over by Allah SWT. thus encouraging you to always be aware and careful in carrying out daily activities. Let us not end fasting with RAMADAN. Muslims are taught to fast on the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah. As an important sunnah, Dhul Hijjah fasting brings great rewards and forgiveness of sins. Fasting Dhul Hijjah is extremely beneficial to Muslims because of the blessings Allah bestows during this time.
