A189N right turn at 6:35 in the video is the 5th exit not 4th, there's a very small exit before it on the roundabout sign.

If you look at where the test centre is on google maps and draw a circle approx 15 minutes away from the test centre, you could drive in any road within that 15 minute radius.

There are many many test routes. If you look at where the test centre is on google maps and draw a circle approx 15 minutes away from the test centre, you could drive in any road within that 15 minute radius.

No reverse bay parking. No parallel park. No emergency stop. No pull up on the right. No overtaking. I think no rural roads am not sure i was skipping a lot. And no long stop for show me tell me questions. Is this just a runaround of the test road locations and not an actual test?

Burnsey - This video is from a real driving test. The 1 manoeuvre that is requested during the test was a forward bay park and reverse out carried out in the first 6-7 minutes of the test. As there is only 1 manoeuvre requested during the driving test, there was no parallel park, no pull up on the right, and no reverse bay park. There was no emergency stop requested on this test (only 1 in 3 test are requested to carry out an emergency stop). The tell me question is asked at the start of the test before the driving element is started and the show me questions is asked on the move, therefore there is no need for any long stop. The driving test doesn't always include any rural roads, some do, some don't. There are a mixture of roads and road conditions included in the route but test routes vary. Overtaking is not alway necessary, legal or dafe, therefore it is not a requirement to have to overtake, as it would be in real life driving.

I passed on this route on the 3rd of September 😁 thankfully the b&q roundabout was not included in our test due to road works 😊 I never have to worry about this dam test centre ever again 😁 😂

How come the driver passed when pulling up on the left he used a residential drive to pull up at 🤔 I thought that was an instant fail?

@@tzuamourshihtzu9871 Sometimes the examiner will tell you to ignore driveways so that you can complete a specific manoeuvre

As you say, sometimes the examiner will tell the candidate to not worry about covering a driveway if they’re going to move off again. If they don’t say anything, you should avoid them.

@@michaelscott9314 no I didn’t and the route was made a LOT easier when I do pass because there was road works along b&w roundabout so just as I get comfortable with the dam thing my test route didn’t include it 🙄 if you can get the roundabout down your good to go 🙌

I have my first attempt at the practical today at Elswick test centre however it’s actually test number 6 because they kept getting cancelled. Thanks for sharing this video actually helped calm me down a little 😊

All test routes cover manual and automatic. The cars transmission is irrelevant to how you should drive safe on the road. Thats what its all about
