I am not making youtube videos to make money as the end goal. I also make videos to provide value or information to other mountain bikers as well. My niche is basically riding a lot of different hardtails and explaining and telling other riders of how they feel different how they handle different so that is my corner. But obviously I can't post nothing but hardtail content but most of my park riding is basically me documenting my day with my buddies and most of the time just my buddies watching and it feels like they are along for the ride with me. And I have met a couple of other riders through KZbin as well that I still ride with today so I think in the end it was still a worthwhile endeavor and it is something that I definitely do as a hobby for fun not for money.

Wow! So honored to be included in your list of mtb content creators! I really appreciate the kind words and I think you summarized it very well with the "humanizing mountain bike KZbin". I have absolutely noticed you trying to capture that aspect of riding in your videos and it is what kept me coming back this year! I totally resonate with the KZbin channel as a diary for your riding journey. Once I hit a thousand subs and monetized, I really felt myself just wanting to make fun videos with my friends or showcasing a place off the beaten path. It can feel like a lot to keep filming or editing videos that you know might top out at 100 views, but honestly some of my lowest performing videos are the ones I enjoy watching the most. I am always grateful to have these rides captured, especially when I am busy, the weathers bad, or health issues keep you off the bike! Sick man you took my advice! I am so lucky these are my home trails. 1:58 was quite nerve wracking to watch haha. The biggest roller in there is a secret roller that not many know about, on the end of rambler, up the fire road a little. much larger than the the height of the opening roller

Thanks bro, appreciate the advice as always. Yeah you’re gonna have to point me in the right direction of the one at Rambler. Yeah, Ned’s was really sketchy cause I’m a bigger dude and my bike doesn’t have the big brake rotors, so that was about as slow as I could go. I lived lol

@@bmwpowere36m3 yeah so go up the fire road off of rambler maybe 100 feet and it’ll be on your left. it won’t be immediately obvious but if you are there with the intent of looking for a big slab then you should be able to see it
@bmwpowere36m314 күн бұрын
Blue is good, there's more and bigger in there... Vietnam in MA is another great spot for rollers. Lynn Woods in MA also has many spicy ones. CT has a few, but Blue has some of the smoothest rollers and a great mix of small to big.
@DennyJannettyMTB14 күн бұрын
@@bmwpowere36m3 yeah all those places are on the bucket list and I’ve heard of some bigger rolls there. Daylight had us pressed for time so I wanted to hit the highlights. Not sure exactly where the big big ones are, but worth looking for
@bmwpowere36m314 күн бұрын
@@DennyJannettyMTB Actually your opening roller, is one I was thinking about... tucked back from the fireroad, just south of, the two-part roller that dumps right onto it . There are a few off Myx Monster and On Your Marc, but nothing necessarily more challenging than you've already done. Unless you get up to BC, the many truly sketchy or big rolls I've come across in the Northeast are kind of one-hit wonders scattered about.
