Can this install work alongside a 3 way and 4 way light switch config? I.e. where one of the 2 gangs is part of a 3 way light and the other gang is part of a 4 way light (3 switches), assuming I have enough of the mini smart switches?

Question about the physical installation: shouldn’t it always be put in some sort of box or enclosure? It seems like the terminals on the product are going to be hot, so even if they’re embedded, they potentially could short if something came in contact with them. I’d imagine code would require more protection than them having an exposed installation, or even being installed inside a wall without a specific enclosure. This raises an additional point that I think it would be nice to see more enclosure in some of these products, so they could be installed a little more independently.

What confuses me is, does the relay have to be connected to one light bulb that the switch controls or each globe needs one?
@evvrhomeautomation
@evvrhomeautomation Жыл бұрын
Hi! If you want to control two lights with one switch, you need to install one relay for each bulb.

You people who demo these things need to learn how to prepare your dialog. You start off by telling us what's in the box, how to install, but we're still not sure what it does and how it works. You should ALWAYS start there. Do a demo of what the end product does so we know what the hell you're talking about. ONLY then do you go into the components needed, requirements and installation. I'm 3 minutes into this video and still have no idea what this does over a regular automated switch. You guys need to do better. Better yet, ask someone to watch and critique your demos before you post them. You guys know the intimate working details of why, how, where, etc.. But you're trying to educate/sell this to those of us who don't. Start by showing us what it does.

how do these differ from the Shelly Relay?
@evvrhomeautomation
@evvrhomeautomation Жыл бұрын
Here is Evvr Smart Relay Switch’s unique features comprared with Shelly Relay: Unlike other home smart light switches, the In-Wall HomeKit Relay Switch is a no neutral wire required smart switch. Some smart switch solutions require rewiring the neutral wire. Inviting the electrician will spend a lot of time and money. Compared with the ordinary smart switches on the market that do not require neutral wires, Evvr has a stable signal without flickering. Evvr In-Wall HomeKit Relay Switch memorizes the state of the light bulbs before a power outage and return it to the same state(on/off) prior to the power interruption when the power is restored.

Is there a way of doing that with only one sub-assembly? Because I have 3 switches in my room for the same light, so I have to buy 3 sub.assembly?
