I have been taking Pregabalin for 4 years. It changed my life and seemed like a true miracle. Over time I had to up my dose frequently and ended up taking 600mg in 4 doses everyday. I gained 30kgs in those 4 years, and was dizzy but it made my anxiety almost go away. Suddenly over the last six months the effects have stopped working and I was left with only side effects. One evening I suddenly couldn't breathe and was admitted at the hospital. They couldn't find any reason why I couldn't breathe but said that my lungs sounded wrong. They observed that my breathing would be affected half an hour after taking Pregabalin and that no kind of astma meds would help. The doctors told me that I had to quit Pregabalin cold turkey and that it was too dangerous for me to keep taking it. The last month has been hell. I have tried a lot but getting off Pregabalin has been the worst thing I have ever tried. I have had this insane feeling of my skin actually burning, crazy mood swings, nausea, muscle pain like when you have a fever, insane headaches and worst of all, depression and suicidal thoughts. I am slowly feeling better but I have been close to giving up several times. My breathing problems stopped almost immediately after quitting the meds. I have now joined a therapy group for other people who has had to fight to get off of Pregabalin. There are LOTS of cases of people having hell with Pregabalin. I know it seems like a miracle drug, but for a lot of people it WILL turn to hell over time as your brain gets too used to the drug. Stay away from Pregabalin 🙏 search online for information about the severe side effects before taking this drug!

I'm on 10mg of Diazepam (Valium) and 7.5mg of Zopiclone a day. I have taken Lyrica before, and it is very effective I thought for short-term use but my tolerance for it was too high, 500mg a day wasn't enough after 3 months of starting

I'm so thankful I found your video. I recently started taking Lamotrigine and so far, thank God, I don't really have side effects. And it really improved my moods, and by "improved" I mean - stabilized. I also had some serious s****de thoughts that are almost gone now. Depression never really goes away fully, but this medication is truly life changing. I experienced a change from day 1.

I have more muscle movements like twitches. The word finding inability showed up with just 25mg but longer I’m on it the less of a problem. Random soreness that lasts in spots for a day and can switch spots. I’m only on 50mg right now going up 75mg tomorrow. Sleep has been fine. My blood pressure has been notably high. I can feel my eyes being more sensitive. I’ve been on this in the past and was very nauseous and was for moods but I was not diagnosed with bipolar 2. I’m off antidepressant Effexor now cause I was going crazy with the mania. I think lamictal is good so far. I was having suicide in my dreams and lots of sadness and screaming. That has stoped since I took first 25mg. This is important to me. I feel more stable but still adjusting to therapeutic dose. If this helps anyone.

Hey, glad you had an okay experience. I hated it to be honest, but I was in full blown psychosis. I had awful constipation, my mind was so slow I couldn't even think of any words to have a conversation, and generally I'm very sharp and witty. Weight gain HUGE. Sleep was 12 hours every night plus loads of naps in the daytime. My eyesight also got so bad I couldn't even read subtitles as I like to do. Stopped it last year and it has taken literally this long to get my head back. Still a bit stuck on some words but basically am getting back to myself. No constipation anymore, sleep has done a 360... Now I'm using promethazine when it gets so bad that I'm only sleeping a couple of hours per night. Eyesight back to normal... Woohoo!! 🙈 Peace and love to all. Extra hugs for all those suffering from mental health issues. 🤗

I said enough after being on it nearly 3 years. First it felt amazingly good. Didn't make me manic like ssri's, kept the depression away, stabilized my mood and helped with anxiety. Then the memory loss. I couldn't remember anything without writing it down. I felt so dizzy that walking straight was impossible, now imagine this at work. I also started to have all kinds of infections, later found out that the drug can affect your immune system . digestion issues, I mean bad ones. Basically I felt too sick to work.
