is much easyer to fix like that! just taking of the oil pan and tighten those rod screws and thats it! dont let it make a hole on your cutlass!

Mhmmm candy. Sounds so good! Like before actually, but the noise is coming out of the right spot and there is a lot less chance of carbon monoxide poisoning!

That has to be an '87. The MPFI didn't come out until the 87 model year.

@ritceyc i had one that had 250,000 miles on it when i had to get rid of it. other than a head gasket issue at the end of my ownership with it, that was all that was wrong. it's still out there running. you'll get alot out of yours. and please show it some love, they deserve it.

I have two Daytona's. A base 1989 model I bought for $500. It has a 5-speed but no options at all. Manual everything and no A/C. The other is a 1987 Daytona Shelby Z. Again 5-speed, but with a TII Turbo engine it's much quicker. It's bone stock except for a BOV. I paid $800 for it. All I had to do was replace the passenger CV axle and center the engine (the reason it broke the axle). Both are fun to drive. These cars are extremely under rated. It does mean they are cheap though! Fine by me!

Thats right man, I have the same bike as this (in better shape however :) and i cant kill the damn thing lol. its quick too. And it IS 4x4. the first 4x4 atv ever actually. the 87' is a rare bike nowadays also, because this was the first year of 4x4 and in 88' they changed the design to what your bike is. all the better far as im concerned, means mine will be historic lmao

and your right about the timing gears....the only possible problem is that the cam gear ( phenolic plastic) might have worn down along the way and threw it out of time....possibly bending a valve or something of that nature...

Dumbass like you don't know what is a great ATV. This is one of the best Polaris out here. I have an Polaris TrailBoss 1991 2x4 and it's rocks. It's smoke ALOT of new ATV in acceleration. It's not very good looking but we don't give a fuck, it's make for mud. New ATV are not build tough and they are too "sophisticated"...
