Might have been a stuck ring or 2 in there ....... How you been Buzz ? Everything OK here in Southwest Louisiana , got a 65 amp power supply for the bench ..... I retired the 45 amp supply ...... It's a year old and I'll have a spare at least ...

That's what I was thinking. After pulling the plug, and spraying cleaner, and a lube it seems to have help. This has been a bad year for small eng. carbs LOL. 65amp, nice, I need a larger supply for the ham gear, a 65 would be nice. I like Astron but they stop at 50, and switching. I like Linear supplies. @buzzsah yeah I like linear supplies for their no noise quality. This 65 Amp is a Dell server supply and is quiet as a mouse . I have a 10 meter Galaxy and surprisingly there's no noise in the receiver. Those are known for not having a good filter section. Buddy at The Radio Shop uses a HP 70 Amp server supply . I only paid 5 bux for it and 8 bux for the shipping. On ebay of course .
