If they added in static balance elements it would qualify as mixed pair acrobatic gymnastics. Which is an event in acrobatic worlds which is a qualifying event for the olympics.

Nuorodo I totally agree...those pairs who dance are mostly focusing on acrobations while they do not care about basic moves I can say formations do kicks a lot better

@Jeff Dick its a dance form done in places like Ukraine, Russia etc & its called "Rock & Roll Acrobatics." That doesn't mean that the acrobatic movements combined with dance must be done to Rock and Roll music.....!!! This is a type of competitive sport there . Like Ball Room dancing .

I love acrobatic rock but this has too many cuts, the music is inappropriate and it's not at all Kate Perry, and there' s no Lancaster Park in Laval, it's in Lancaster, Ontario.
