Goku was Mexican. The avocados on his table gave it away.

Ok so I saw some negative comments regarding the actor that plays Future Trunks in this short film but what I want to say to these people is Trunks or the rest of the other z fighters don’t have to be Asian actors they can have American actors take the guy that played sanji in the one piece Live Action Netflix series he knocked it out of the park and take the actor from the live action Netflix death note film that played L he knocked it out of the park despite the death note Netflix film being completely shit

Still hits hard! that moment where he goes SS always gave me the chills. Now I wonder what that could do with a beast Gohan movie!

Gosh this came out in 2015 and it’s still a masterpiece! A live action Dragonball movie can be done with the right writers.

I'm a fan of DBZ but I can point out a ton of mistakes with this version the fact that trunks killed the androids but cell was in his final form bulma died making trunks transform in was supposed to be the death of Gohan bulma got kill by black not cell and the fact that trunks was a teen and some z fighters where still alive and the super Saiyan power up was wrong your not supposed to glow he also killed off cell in his timeline as well no sweat so if there were trying to pull of history of trunks they failed

Its clearly an adaptation with creative liberties

DBZ weebs are so lame for giving this 47k dislikes just because they can't handle nuanced storytelling or any artistic interpretations that aren't a 1:1 adaptation of the anime. I happen to love DBZ, and also film making. So when I see people singing praises about schlocky projects like Light of Hope and disparage this, it's pretty cringey. These idiots have NO FREAKING IDEA how incredibly well shot this project is actually is.

You guys did everything right, made it more realistic with hair color and ngl I like the look of cell it made him more terrifying and alien like. I really hope they make a live action as good as this in my lifetime.

There's a big channel stealing your full movie, and asking fans to support them for it. The channel is called Film Reverse 2024.

One thing I love about this is how it show that regardless of how powerful he’s become, Trunks was utterly overmatched against Perfect Cell.

I have reservations, but I can clearly see when passion and respect for the source material is present. SFX aside, this is so well done. I love how there's very little voice lines besides the narration. That type of storytelling is not easy to pull off and I think that's why we don't see it often. But when it's done right, it's very powerful. And it was done right here. I love the reveal for the narration towards the end. I loved the part of the story chosen for the film because it's a perfect choice to explore and flex your own creativity without worrying too much about canon. The actor for Vegeta was uncanny. Even with no voice lines in that one scene he was able to convey so much and that's the mark of a great actor. If a good live-action feature-length film was made, I'd want him to be Vegeta if he was up for it. Very well done, thank you for making this film. <3

The fact that Cell doesn't kill Trunks at the end of the fight is simply terrifying. Basically after making Earth his playground and finishing off the last worthy opponent, Cell throws it away like a broken toy...
