From the first start i had Glasurit 90 line for a loooong time. Then it lost the quality wery fast and in 2023 i dumped 90 line, i got Sikkens autovawe and Spies Hitec. Sikkens was a pain in the ass while i hawe noy a specific brand of cars, but all what is on the roads. Sikkens required a lot of tinting and the scaner made the colors far away from reality. Then the technition from poland arrived at my shop to find out what is the problem. He told me at the begining, that i need to go to Poland to sikkens learn center and learn the tinting for sikkens. Im to old for this crap and i dont wana spend time for the useles spended hours to tint ewery car. Of course with time i would hawe a ton of tinted color to chose from, but no. I dumped the sikkens autowave and got glasurit 100 line. Meanwhile i worked with spies. Spies is a great system, but the light shades are pain in the ass again to get them smooth without any clouds. So the glasutit solved the problems with light shade cloudines. I work with both systems. Since spies is bad a t drying, especialy in rainy days, i prefer to use glasurit, but i can't work with only one system, while if i can't make the color in one system, then i can do it in the other one

Thanks, id did prefer 5000 rp, but is start to ged used to Iwata. But the main differences is the final look of the clear, spraying speed and the ethicknes of the clear on the part. Sata does the job fast, thicker layer and that means less dust to sand and polish but more harsh look, but this last paet depends on the clear. Different clears flows different.

And now all your friends drive some sort of red cars 😂.

I fixed the cup. Used 4.5 mil drill, slided it in the hole and pushed against the bendet place and its round again. Works fine again

Hey, thanks. The SpiesHecker clearcoat 8034 is made for that and makes a nice look after drying. I sprayed it with Iwata ws400 clearcoat gun and the gun makes the layer prety thin, so it actualy is not a wery thick layer of clear. Could be the same as my Sata 5000 RP 1.4 And it dryed also better than i thought under 63 degres celsius. I like the tinted clear better while it does les "cloudy" look comoare to Glasurit 90 line waterborne and some other solvent bases.

Hi, no, for this one i used SpieHecker Hi-tec waterborne. It is a 2 stage with a tinted clearcoat.

Oohh, that should be the same as Glasurit 90 line. I dumped the 90 line because they could not catch up with the new colors. Unfortunately the problems started few years ago.

Thats not a sealer, its basecoat, and i think i made the best solution possible to fix this and it looks great.

Hi. Yes, i hawe here two spray booth's. The one is much larger so i can get in the booth maxi plus size buses (europe standart big comercial buses with a refridge on the roof) I know it all, because i am my self the shop owner and the designer of the booth :D I am working in my shop as a cillision repair guy and a painter while there are a lot of circumstances while i can't sit in a chair and do nothing :D Anyway, we are pushing through about 50 to 70 paintjob in a month depending on how big the repairs are. I pay my guys percents from estimate for ewery car they make. So the deal is- then more they do, then more they get.

Because any IWATA sprays smoother and the surface of clear is flatter, especialy when clearcoating buses. With Sata it would be a pain because of the big airflow and owespray on the fresh clearcoated part. And other reason is- the IWATA clear gun was not delivered at that moment. And who said that with the IWATA basecoat gun you can't spray clear :D No clearcoat was hurt in this video.

I realy dont know the difference between those two guns while i don't had ewer the green cup gun holded in my hands. @treysterthepainterturner8404 maybee can answer the queation for you. Hes a pro painter who had painted with those two guns

No, i didn't use those clears you said. I use glasurit cc 30 clear at this moment. Im from Latvia.

That's a part of the job. But i was lucky and could polish all the defects out and the color looks good. Im happy that glasurit made this paint so easy.

Correct, need to move on. It's just a car and some situations again to collect in skill box 😄

Hmm, inside diameter 7.4mm Im using all the air connectors from Würth. Costing a litle bit more, but lasting years. The oldest connector is 11 years old.

Nahh, it did not. Not all the sh*ts are falling off when blowing with the anti static gun. So tacking is a must be thing anyway. This gun is powerfull enaugh to take care about this situation. If i would tack it after the anti static gun, i would agree with You. This works for me, so nothing else matters.

😁 luck is not a good thing to rely on. The inner robot is needed to get the spray steps perfect so you dont miss or overdo the clear.

Thanks. I do all the jobs to get a car back on streets again. Im the only one who makes the heawy bendet metal part repair and replace jobs till painting and polishing. Some of my guys aren't painters so im paint they'r prepared cars also.

Kad iemācās krāsot tikai pēc kustībām neizmantojot redzi, tad šādi neredzamie toņi ir vienkārši. Gadās, ja krāso bāzi un jālako, tad gadās, kad kāds melnais gruzis kautkur iekrīt.

Izklausās pēc sūdīgas krāsas. Iespējams lomu nospēlēja tas, ka baltais ir vājāk sedzoš (pārsvarā) un gribas biezāku kārtu uzpūst. Tas nozīmē, ka iz virsmas ir vairāk šķaidītājs, kas spēj atmērcēt apakšējos slāņus itsevišķiz ja vēl izmanto skābo grunti.
