Not only Germans. The reason for these dark /grey interiors is because that color is the most selling. They can not have a white interior because it will be harder to sell. The most cars are in that color. Sometimes, Audi has a Kaki-color interior which in my opinion is better.

I think VW needs to take all its piano black and sent it to the negative zone never to be seen nor heard from again. Carmakers will not let that stuff go. The worst material of the decade and the century. That goes double for the key fob.
