I think court storming or field storming is what makes college sports unique. When UCF upset Oklahoma State this season they set up designated entrances for fans to storm and I couldn’t tell you how many security guards were guarding the goal posts.

I agree with the sentiment! That said, it is becoming more commonplace and approaching the one-upmanship territory where these happen too often and are getting out of control/unsafe. As I said in the piece, enjoy it for what it is but respect your brotherhood out there so we all can continue to reap the reward of this activity.
