Wonderful,such beautiful dogs.I had Gus for 11 years my constant companion went through a divorce with me mopped tears into his lovely wirey coat but i still had his smiley to see me through. Lost him in 1992, love the breed but couldn't bear to go through that awful last trip to the vets again. I always make a point to say hello to owners and give a rub to the dogs, their fur is unique. Long live The King of the terriers !

My wife and I had 3 Airedales in our lifetimes: A mother and her last puppy (Airedale rescue), and then later another female. They are incredible creatures. I'd get one more, but I'm getting old, and I don't think I could stand to lose another one or leave one behind. Such an amazing breed.

We had an Airedale named Sage who had to be put down in 2010 at almost 12 years old. I can't see an Airedale without tearing up. I've have several great dogs including our current one but she was special.

I had to put down my biggest friend. She was 11 years old and always at my side. Best airedale ever lived. She was so sick the last 8 weeks. She left a big gap in my heart. 😢

Did Sage come from Debonaire Airedales?

No, Sage came from Inglevalley near Kingston, Ontario. A magnificent dog taken much too early by cancer.

@@chuckstone7995 We miss our Airedale too! I noticed you were from Canada. We got our boy in Burlington, Ontario but the breeder has retired. It has been a couple of years now and we are looking for a breeder but we have relocated to Florida and there are none in the area so we will likely expand the search and then fly back home.

We are in Fort Erie, which is near Niagara Falls. We know the Adkinsons very well - one of ours was from Valdonnaire before they retired and the daughters turned it into Debonnaire. We ourselves have been breeding and showing for years under the kennel name Fairstone. We expect a high quality litter in Spring 2024. Great looks and health and wonderfully affectionate. Mother and father both champions in high competition. You can see the 2022 litter and the mother Pepsi on my Facebook profile (Chuck Stone) or under Fairstone Airedales. However, you do not have to travel to Canada for a high quality Airedales, with all the worries of importing into the U.S. I recommend looking into the world class breeder Caron Jones in North Carolina. Her dogs are international champs with wonderful temperaments; we are privileged to be tied into her bloodlines. Best wishes to you as you seek another family member. Airedales often are not easy…but I would not choose another breed.

@@chuckstone7995 Thank you very much for the information. I have watched several of your videos and your dales are beautiful. I will most certainly check out Caron's Airedales. We know all about Airedale temperament but we love them so much and can't think of getting another type of dog. lol.

Awesome, I Love that the 1st 2 girls tackled the steeps !!! So i've always had males, but I got my 1st female "mia" a year ago..Shes a Golden Retriever, Wow Super Smart & a total love bug !!!!!! Now I want one of these...lol

9 too young 😢 my first 3 have all gone ahead of us between 12.5 and 13.5. We been lucky. On number 4, Indiana Jones he’s 2.5.

gosh this is like the perfect scenario for me. a nice house picket fence and bunch of airedale pups running around. i know its alot of work for you but the payoff is great. too bad they grow so fast

What a nice tribute. I' sorry for your loss. Many years ago i had 2 airdales. Boys and still i' m crying for them. Last october i lost my adorable Scottish terrier. Thank you for your memories. Let's aporeciate our friends during ther lifetimes😢.

I was searching for a local breeders several wks ago and since then I've been inundated with dog and Airedale KZbin stuff your ch is by far the most enjoyable and shows a real love for the breed. I've had Airedales off and on since I was a pre teen, and I had a total of 6 the last two died at 14plus. So thanks for a very nice ch celebrating Airedales.
