Great cover. Any recommendations for new drummer to get these 8th notes up to Ramones speed? Just keep playing along with songs or push with a Metronome? Im getting better, prob I just need time.
@caledoniadrumstudio32805 ай бұрын
Hmmmmm....good question.... firstly, thanks for digging my vid. I super-appreciate it. As far as building speed... always slow and stady first ( like many things). Same goes with any rudiment or excercise. Work on different techniques (fingers,wrist,etc) - lots you can do. I must say Ive lost alot of my 'single speed' over time due to various dumb litle non-drumming injusries but....gotta keep working on it. And that's kinda anothet thing too - never stop the practice and WORKING on stuff. Practice slow ( with good technique...whether it's more wrist, push/pull or moeller type stuff...whatever) and then gradually increase speed while maintaining accuracy and power. Remember power isn't always synonymous with LOUD. Metronome is most def your friend. Reach out if there's anything else you wanna pick my brain about. Happy practicing!!
