Check that your object's scale is set to 1. If it's different, this could explain why the bevel behaves as it does. Try resetting the scale with 'Ctrl + A' then 'Scale', that should solve the problem.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you, but check your transform pivot point or the rotation values of your object when you scale or change your dimensions. It could have an impact.

What I'm doing at this point is called insertion, and I think the problem you're having is that you're inserting each face independently. When you press 'i' for insertion, you need to uncheck the 'individual' option in the panel that appears at bottom left, so that it applies to all faces at once.

@nocroq27182 ай бұрын
I understand your desire to progress and thank you for your compliments. Unfortunately, I can't recommend any specific courses, as I haven't taken any. I've reached this level thanks to several years of practice on Blender, watching numerous online videos and carrying out many projects on my own. My advice is to look for tutorials that interest you and correspond to your current level. Take the time to follow them and repeat the exercises until you feel comfortable. As you progress, you'll be able to tackle increasingly complex tutorials. If you find yourself stuck on certain options, shortcuts or techniques in Blender, don't hesitate to look for answers on the Internet, particularly in the Blender forums or wiki. This will help you understand in depth what you're doing and improve your use of the software. You should also know that I'm preparing a new project video, but this time I'm going to explain what I'm doing. Maybe this will help you better.
