My favorite is the AudioRealism Bass Line 3 (ABL3) and from Arturia "Acid". 🙂

I haven't made music for years. I used to use the first AudioRealism Bass line and it was incredible. Definitely the best, most authentic sound you could get from a VST at the time.

Amazing explanation, detailed and objective focused....Thank you so much for share with us. i have just a curiosity. how do you reach these numbers to set the tools in this and other videos (the numbes of %, dB and amount or patterns to...) I will be very happy and appreciated if you could share just one more tip and/or point me some paper to understand better your rational ....LOL....thank you again...
@BruceMennel25 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad you found the explanation helpful! 😊 As for the numbers-this is a great question. Honestly, reaching those settings comes down to a mix of experience, trial and error, and understanding the context of the track I'm working on. Over time (and after plenty of mistakes), you start to develop an ear for what works and what doesn’t. For example, when shaping the balance of a drum bus, I focus on how each element (kick, snare, hats, etc.) sits in the mix. I adjust parameters like compression thresholds, EQ gain, or saturation amounts based on how much clarity, punch, or warmth I want to bring out. If you liked this video, you’ll love the next one coming out in a few days about sound processing on a whole track. I’d love to hear your input!

Thanks! When I use the pad as a audio loop on my Maschine MK3 it is not sent to Ableton Live while recording, but when I stop recording it starts sounding :( Strange
@BruceMennel25 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question! With the Maschine MK3, you can record MIDI sequences that trigger any sample loaded into Maschine. These sequences are essentially instructions for when and how the samples should play. While you can't record audio directly into the MK3 itself, you can work with MIDI sequences to create patterns and tracks that trigger your loaded samples. Let me know if you’d like more details about setting this up!

so I can integrate my Maschine Plus with Logic and play it as I usually do but get all the sound and MIDI information recorded to Logic? I do not need to use Maschine 3??
@BruceMennel27 күн бұрын
Great question! When you integrate Maschine with Logic, you can set it up to control Logic’s transport functions (like play, stop, and record). However, this setup doesn’t replace Maschine software’s features within Logic.
@joeymc527228 күн бұрын
your instructions did not work choosing mackie on windows. There is no selection for maschine virtual on Maschine ext midi and machine ctrl midi for i/os. tried both still doent work. plus you loose all other maschine functions. its basically just transport controls for maschine without any other functions.
@BruceMennel27 күн бұрын
Thanks for pointing this out! This setup works great on Mac computers, but I haven’t tested it on Windows, so there may be some differences. On Windows, I recommend double-checking your settings in the Native Instruments Controller Editor application. The Maschine Virtual ports might not appear if the Controller Editor isn’t properly configured or if the drivers need an update.
