Being 100% H with you I prefer your version of this over Ramin… and I love his version!! I hope I sound like you one day

Great job! And you held those notes extra long because of the tempo being slower. Keep on singing!!!

Bravo! Excellent voice, range, and tone! Others have mentioned that you sound like Ramin, but I disagree. You sound like yourself, Tanner Johnson, and that is your greatest gift! Congratulations!

The breath support, the ease - just amazing. I'm a sucker for lower voices so Ben Lewis remains no. 1, but genetics aside, you are tied

My standards are set so high for whoever sings this by Ramin Karimloo. But you, you my guy, are one of the best voices I have ever heard. My jaw is on the floor! 👏👏👏
@lubormrazek554510 ай бұрын
Fair, but I think Ben Lewis does better (the phantom has always been a bit more of a baritone in my mind)

Beautiful voice, great stage looks. Move your hands, touch the piano, plant your foot here and there when you feel it. Not jazz hands, just the emotion that you want to get out of your head when you sing this song. Wonderful.

Appreciate the kind words and advice. This was for a voice studio class in front of peers and voice instructors. We're told to stand and sing. The whole performance here was basically a voice technique workshop rather than an acting through song exercise. Regardless, I appreciate your advice!

No, there was nothing wrong with your performance at all, I thought it was amazing. If your heart is in it, I'm sure you will be snapped up soon. The best of luck to you!

Your Tone, Vibrato, Control and Emoting is perfection... Serious Phantom material and I don't give that compliment lightly with Michael and JOJ being my favorites, and Ben and Ramin being up there too.. You could definitely hold you own against any one of them.. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!

Love the song.. but you didn't make me feel the emotion of the song.. The Phantom is very desperate at this point in his life just to hear n possibly see his love Christine maybe one last time.. just felt like a cover of Ramin.. perhaps holding a mic would make you feel more comfortable I sensed you didn't know what to do with your hands.. you have a great career ahead of you, enjoy.. thankyou.

That was killer, dude. I noticed that (back then, although you've probably already progressed past this by now) you were a bit tense during the higher notes. I'm not throwing shade, I'm just saying that this inspired me because I do that a lot, too, and seeing you absolutely nail the song in spite of it (though there's always room for improvement) spurs me to work harder. I've always dreamed of being able to pull off the role of Christine, but I've always struggled a little because I've not been able to take vocal lessons. I honestly have no idea whether I'm a soprano, mezzo, alto, etc. It's hard for me to tell. Anyway, that's my rant. You did really amazing!

This was in a studio voice class. We were told not to move around while we sing in order to avoid developing bad performance habits. Simply working on vocal technique here.
