Right above your video was a thumbnail I’m sure we’ve all seen. Super ripped guy with a title saying something like “how I went from fat to RIPPED!” With like a million views. Then I see your thumbnail below it with 300 views. The title of the video plus the honest thumbnail made me think, wait this guy isn’t click baiting me, he actually has a story to tell. You did have a story to tell and I’m grateful you shared it. Amazing video 👍🏻

There was one realisation I had in the early years of my recovery from alcoholism which has stayed present for me over the several following decades. It was that I should adopt a new definition for the word 'accept' which I should substitute for that word whenever I encountered it. That definition is that to truly accept something I must not merely know and understand why something is true, I must be willing to do whatever becomes necessary to do because of that knowledge. Chris is using a similar way of thinking when he describes the ideas he had to ACCEPT to conquer obesity.
