Depending on the Size of your Mixer but it can be set on the Top Shelf. I use a 6 Channel Yamaha Mixer and I place it on the top shelf and the Microphone receiver on the Bottom Shelf. Just depends on the Mixer size. Thanks for the Comment.

how do you get cue and EQ channels on rekordbox in performance mode. mine doesnt have it and can't find an option to add in?
@djazh2oАй бұрын
I'm not sure I understand your Question, but if you are asking about the EQ and Cue Points, It is on the Top portion if your Rekordbox Window, look to the right and the symbol looks like a EQ Sliders. Click it and it will show you the EQ and Sliders. As for Cue points they are added buy hitting the Pad at the Desired point (time). Thank you For your Question but I might suggest Looking at Chris M www.youtube.com/@ReallyChrisM he does a lot of Rekordbox Videos

I have a question that no website is listing. What is the weight of this Case
@djazh2o2 ай бұрын
I did not weigh it but I would say that the case is about 35 - 40lbs w/o Controller. (EMPTY). I usually use a cart to haul, as it can be quite bulky. It is easily handled using the Carrying handles and I have no trouble lifting it in my SUV. I still using this case and I used it for my DJ Podium Build. See my other Video about DJ Podium for Flight Case. Thanks for watching.
@DJCalienteNYC2 ай бұрын
It cant be 35 to 40. The case is low profile. There is not much room underneath the case to store things. a Case that has more room underneath weighs more like 35 to 43 lbs. If i were to guess, This case has to be around 29 thru 32 lbs.

I'm in the process of building my own so love to see the creativity... I'm on the fence because well I absolutely appreciate the ingenuity and building something yourself and saving thousands of dollars... On the other hand... Like you said in the video you built it over a weekend... And it Looks like it too. It's not bad, it's just everything looks kind of rushed thrown together. Super fast and not really embellished to give you that pro look . Only thing it would take is smoothing out some rough edges, throwing on a fresh even coat of paint and that's really about it bro 👍🏾

Great effort, good for you for saving yourself a lot of money, and it looks great. personally, I think the mobile djing movement has become a joke with this podium trend, now we have to be carpenters too, and bring a kitchen counter to events just to look good. you have to admit, it is getting out of hand.

How can you address these for independant control with a 24 light controller?? The manual sucks!! Thansk man!
@djazh2o10 ай бұрын
From my understanding using a DMX controller you would address them the same as any other light,. Just use the DMX settings from the Manual. DMX Control is correct from what I see in the manual. As for Master/Slave using these Lights you will make the First Light Master and set the others to a corresponding address. I Set ALL mine as D001 because I use that address for all my par lights is a RB_DMX 1for rekordbox. Also I use the First light in a series and set all other to D001. So if using the remote when the first light changes so do the rest. As for a Specific Light for a Specific address each light has to have its own Address D001 for light 1, the D008 #2 and D015 #3 as the light is 7 channel light. Then each light will be controlled from a different channel.

Waiting on my DDJ-1000 to arrive next month. So when I connect to Android phone can I use the controller along with the music(Local music files in phone) or it just plays the music via phone? There are plenty of Android DJ apps, can anyone of those be used with DDJ-1000 ?
@djazh2o2 жыл бұрын
If you plug you phone directly into anyone of the 4 channels via RCA input you can play directly from you music files or from a other source. I use Amazon unlimited (a paid subscription).
@djazh2o2 жыл бұрын
Let me add that if you are using a DJ app such as a small mixer, yes that will work as well, The idea is to use the phone or tablet Audio output from your device thru your DDJ 1000. Thar is all you are doing. Audio out from device to DDJ 1000 and out from your controller to you Audio out ( Speakers).

Awesome, thank you for the input. Can't wait to try it out.

@@djazh2oCan you download and keep the Amazon music or is it copy protected like iTunes? Amazon Unlimited sounds cool. I have CDs i ripped in iTunes, that i haven't found on Amazon as of yet. Will my iTunes CD rips play on my phone with the DDJ 1000? I am looking for a good back up in case my DDJ 1000 Rekordbox, and Laptop all crash out. What exact cords would you also recommend I get to run my Android tablet with music directly to my speakers. P.S. What DJ app do you recommend?

Thanks for sharing what you know, I am waiting for my DDJ-1000 to arrive. Can you use all four channels and microphone input also without a Laptop?
@djazh2o2 жыл бұрын
YES, But remember that you will be using each INPUT for each Channel. So I use channel 4 mainly as a back up to my Laptop. If my Laptop dies I already have my cell phone or Tablet set up on channel 4. There are 2 separate inputs for your Mic's, 1 - XLR and 1 - 1/4" sockets, Also there is an EQ for your Mics and a Separate Volume control for each output (1 & 2) Also if you wanted to set up a cell phone or Tablet to each channel you could do that and have like 4 different devices in each channel. Each Channel has it's own INPUT. Also these INPUTS could be used for TURNTABLES or Stand Alone Controllers with no Mixer. I beleive Digital DJ Tips may have touched on this in their review of the DDJ -1000 / SRT (Serato Version). If you have any further questions I'll be happy to answer them and when you get your Controller you'll fall in LOVE with it. I did. Happy mixing.

Thanks again for the info. I tested this with 4 different devices connected via RCA like you mentioned and it is working like a charm. Thanks again for creating your videos, they really helped me on deciding for the DDJ-1000. Salutations from Mexico City.
