Hi. Sorry. What do you mean if I cut the sparks? I just installed the exhaust set. It has the spark arrester and is removable but I left it there. Thanks for watching

I would say the reaction time on the acceleration but no way to prove it but definitely a great improvement in the way I feel the ride and sound. So my experience is feeling better with the exhaust. Hope this helps. And thanks for watching. Please subscribe. Regards

Now just take the fenders and the tank off and get that God forsaken pinstripe bulshit off it and just black it out and you might want to black paint the brake fluid box, paint it all black and nothing will look incredible get rid of that red neck paint job lol you did an incredible job rebuilding that vmax now paint it black and you will be happy

Best bike you'll ever own the 1985 had some problems with the shaft drive you might want to get a new shaft drive you know use like a 92 or something it's in good shape and just reinstall that if it's a real 85 shaft drive that's still on it try to get one that's you know out of the 80s and the 90s cuz they fix the problems by then and it'll be the best bike you ever owned that motor is fucking bulletproof

I'd get a frame brace for it and make sure your fork seals are good with equal pressure. My 85 was squirrelly at high speed.

Lo que pienso es lo siguiente: bomba de aceite, falta de aceite (se revisa fácil) , que el sensor de aceite no funcione correctamente o este mal conectado. Creo más en que el sensor no funcione bien y falle con la temperatura. Espero sirva la información. Saludos

Hi ,,I own a GL1000 1975.. I,v owned for 10years ,,only rode once,,(she been waiting for me) I need to do all these things..I think I have a problem with the Advance/retard mechanism..it sits just under the points... its probably rusty...Honestly I,m not a good mechanic so it will go to a garage... I intend to fit electronic ign and new coils and leads.. Looking at your bike and mine ,,, your bike the engine looks better (cleaner)) my bike is quite good but abit rougher finsh...but it is all there including a standard exhaust... My bike also has the original wheels,which when I have reconditioned will look great cheers

pro tip- dont use cardboard to mix up epoxy's. it soaks up the bonding compound, basically weaking the mix

100 lumens for a flashlight that big is beyond sad. I just bought this toolkit and it doesn't have the flashlight in it. Thank god!! It had the 3" cut off tool instead. Which is literally one of the best tools in existence. Those flashlights are as worthless as it gets.

Could you let me know how many inches are on the tire? 275/65 17 from the ground to the top of the tire, because the original ones, which are the ones I have, 265/65 17 are 28.50 inches, and I want to know the difference in height between the two tires. thank you.

first job old bike have take off all carburators and clean all jets and make new seals, important job, old gas closed all small holes in carb.

this is repair old bike have funny perfect hobby work in garage time go funny and have good work repair old bikes back to road, go lot time but have funny and happy when all have perfect new condition, good ,i enjoy repair and build old bikes and cars and many, i has build 2 old lincoln continental mark4 and mark 5 perfect new condition, one old -76 cadillac eldorado, some toyota camry and one old jaguar new condition, funny work, retiree in Thailand now and have buy many motorbike engine need someday start repair all new condition. build chopper and daily drive bike and one motorbike engine reserve 3-wheel can-am style car. but this is future, ow i build some RC airplane my second hobby. have retiree lot time make many woodwork, all my house furnitures has made, metal work repair many local peoples tractor, repair some motorbike, etc learn make leather work, and has build cnc machine woodwork.

new tank need too elektrolyse clean inside. i has before clean some tank fill inside clean nuts and gravel, then bolt tank to cement mixer and runnin mixer tank spin at mixer and sand and nuts clean all big rust, then clean tank and elektrolyse fine rust off, and last rust-off chemical come very clean tank, i has make this my honda CB550 four tank and old CB 750 four tak and some scooter tank. some little hole i has welding closed, one tractor tank i has give water cooler repair men him silver solder tank holes closed.

I thought about that but it has a mesh to pre filter the gas. So putting nuts may damage it. I did electrolisys to it.

I understand your comment. Previous to that fresh oil,filter, lubed cylinders, did spinning several times. I was not able to keep it at low rpms. I am doing another soil change now that the bike is good and runs in idle. Thanks for your comment

As You know one motorcycle get torn down for repairs and literally all of their parts has really taken up a lot of space in the shop… We Just got to work smarter with unforeseen circumstances. This is why I like some motorcycles that don’t break down so much.

I like the wider tires. Not as big as 285/70/r16 but like that no mods were needed to fit these tires on stock suspension.
