Wow, awesome video. Is it me or are those white BMWs a bit too aggressive 😂
@GouldGroupKW6 күн бұрын
Dude, it got crazy, there were a few guys getting REAL aggressive. I got hit twice throughout the weekend, lol, it was fun though. Surprised you weren't there man, did you win the championship?

what setting did you have your Ohlins on? I have the same coilovers for my 718 Cayman S. Great driving man

Thanks!! I truly miss that car. I can’t recall what my shop (foriegn Affairs in FL) set it to, but it was VERY stiff. My current GT4 feels like a Cadillac in comparison. The ohlins was absolutely the best bang for your buck IMO

Thanks buddy, I will say I was on fresh AR-1’s with an unusually sticky track that day. Everyone was setting PB’s that day

Thank you, I watched your Sub 2:20, very impressive. It would be great to run with you, hopefully I see you at Chin or PCA. I’m in the white GT4 with number 31 on the side

Nice driving man! I see you're running the Catalyst. I'd love to be able to compare our data. My username for the Garmin Catalyst is the same as it is for KZbin - USM3C

I will add you for sure, I haven't compared data to my friends yet on catalyst. I need to take a look.

Nice lap! I really like the camera setup. GoPro?What settings do you use?
@GouldGroupKW Жыл бұрын
Thanks, the camera is a GoPro hero 10 mounted to my helmet with the standard helmet mount. I use the factory setting out of the box as I’m not very good with this stuff :-)

Nice driving! Great car! I would like to see what you can do with Hoosier tires! Just one comment regarding turn 1; try softer brake at turn in, longer trail brake, I think you may find the car will turn better.
@GouldGroupKW Жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Great advice, I’m going to be there Saturday with PCA, I will give it a shot.

Great times. Have you done any mods and anything with the aero?
@GouldGroupKW Жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Nothing in the way of aero, but the car had the Ohlins road/track coils, control arms and camber plates, soul catted downpipes, Girodisc rotors with Ferodo pads.

@@GouldGroupKW Cheers for that; currently getting a 718 GTS & wanted to get it track prepped for Sebring. Was gonna go with the 4.0 but the potential in the 2.5 is insane. Hopefully I get to your time one day
@GouldGroupKW Жыл бұрын
The low end torque of the 2.5 is simply awesome. Enjoy it, I’m sure you’ll be flying out there. I now have a white GT4 car number 31. If you see me come say hi

Really nice mod with the NACA duct, what's your suspension set up and camber settings?
@GouldGroupKW3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, so far I'm very pleased with it. I can't recall the exact camber settings, but we stay around -2.5 to -2.8 front/rear. I have the Ohlins track/street suspension and GT3 control arms with camber plates.
@donr8683 жыл бұрын
@@GouldGroupKW Sounds like a nice set up. What have you found works best with your damper settings, same clicks front and back or different? Seems like you're getting very nice balance at the limit apart from a bit of oversteer at the beginning.
