I had a 2015 f250 6.2l gasser with the 3:73 gears. Truck was a 4door short bed. 4x4 in blue jean. Awesome truck. I had a 100 gallon diesel tank in the bed for fueling heavy equipment and a full toolbox. Combine they weighed about 1400 lbs. I would tow around my caterpillar mini excavator in a dump trailer. Trailer was 14k lbs with mini in it. I work in the mountains and that truck towed great!!!! Gassers deserve more credit. But I did decide to upgrade to a 2019 f350 CCLB 6.7PSD. The diesel is good and now has 140k problem free miles. Both are great truck.

@Sn0Pro7 thank you so much for your response. I appreciate the info, I was also asking because it would not only be a work truck for me but a daily driver as well. My right hand side front window does not go up sometimes and my drivers side windows doors not want to close some times. And also, the touch feature of my radio screen comes and goes. It's the worst engine Toyota made, and this guy Camry has 390miles on it, something just doesn't add up
@maxforever26Ай бұрын
The worst engine is the 2a-zfe engine for the years 2007-2009. Piston ring issues. Regarding the 2arfe engine Toyota told allot of their customers that it was ‘ok’ to change their oil every 10k. For the people that did that their engines were toast by 160k-180k miles. It’s the extended oil changes that some people did that did in those engines…

@kgbreviews355 ай бұрын
The 2arfe was not the worst engine they ever built. The engine their referring to.. is the 2az-fe. That had oil burning issues due to an issue with the piston rings. Those engines were used from 2007 to 2011. Of your camry has the 2ar fe engine. Then you would of never experienced that from that engine. Because that problem didn't exist with this engine. Your 390k mileage engine, just proves why you should take whatever someone tells you with a grain of salt. It's almost impossible to find one of these engines that have failed prematurely anywhere. If you find one. It's because someone didn't take care of it like they should have. That is the biggest problem i see with toyotas. Neglect of maintenance! Somehow people believe that because it's a toyota. You never have to service it. If you do the maintenance. These cars can last a really long time.
@hayden934 ай бұрын
Definitely can second that, these will burn oil if you don’t change your oil on time, no one time but you regularly go too long over on oil changes and don’t care for your car. But if you change your oil every 5k or 6 months and stick to it they will never give you problems unless you’re at some insanely high mileage like this guy, even then it probably won’t. To make one of these burn oil bad it’s the owners fault
