Very well explained, I wonder why this video is under rated, this is one of the best video I've found on the internet regarding ARC SQL Mi and Arc SQL severs.

Incredibly useful to help with my journey into composite models. Loved the section about manager aggregates and the emphasis on what's available within pro licensing. Thanks Alex!

Dunno why Microsoft always creates new terminology pointing to the same thing we used to use. It confused people and increase learning curve.

Interesting. We suffered a huge and devastating slowdown when we migrated from 2016 EE to 2022 EE. Even changing back to the 2016 compatibility level still has us running much slower than before. I've also done some separate testing on a different machine that has 2017 and 2022 installed. Even for pure CPU code, 2022 runs 15 to 30% slower. And, yeah... I make sure the configuration settings were both the same, etc.

I regularly enjoy your channel's videos and believe they surpass many others in quality. However, I've noticed a stagnant growth in views and subscribers. This could be due to poor SEO optimization. When properly optimized, videos rank higher on KZbin search results, increasing visibility and engagement. With my extensive background in KZbin marketing and video SEO, I can help improve your channel's performance. Let me know if you're interested.

Is allowing excessive external fragmentation in order to leverage additional caching and storage groups mostly a cloud secret? This makes sense and it seems like more data folks need to know.

Seeing this is 3y ago, but still - I wonder how you keep data consistency since now you have two databases right? i.e. lets say someone sends a private message and we put it to Kafka, and then the sender deletes the message. Are we to handle this then so that Kafka also deletes it? Or lets say they edit it´hm. or what if someone does a delete from X where id = 1 in database, so basically we need to go down to trigger level to manage the data consistency? Or am i missing the point :(

I am bit new to Power Bi stuff, and TOM library. Simple question is, how to fetch existing data for the table? Here it looks, more of a schema info, but not about fetching a data.

I see you loop through each selected column in c# script. Is it possible to loop through each column and conditionally check whether it is a Calculated column (if yes then change its name by adding a prefix)?
