It's crazy how poorly mixed Jamiroquai was! This song sounds like it has a WILD high pass filter on the master bus. The 5th album was the first one that was properly mixed. Unfortunately, their best songs are on the first 3 albums, composition, arrangement and production wise.

Nice bonus track, but doesn't quite fit the rest of the album like Deeper Underground did on the UK version. Would be nice to have it on a compilation set of B-sides and outtakes, though...

When i first heard Synkronised I thought to myself they have amazingly covered just about every single style of Funk I remembered from the old days. The only thing i felt was missing was a Zapp/Clinton groove. Now years later i discover this.Whoever took the decision to leave this track off of the U.k version of the album should be shot.I feel robbed! This tune completes Synkronised and for me makes it the best and most complete Bibliography of the Funk I have ever and probably will ever hear.

This song is unbelievably influenced by George Clinton and his P-Funk. The synthesized sound and the beat that has been funkatized to the extreme makes it a gem. I can't believe that Jamiroquai has such diversity in their music.

rumored to be, but i think jay discredited that when he talked about the original deeper underground in an interview on the high times dvd. he said he had the original track laying around somewhere and sang part of the melody, which makes me think it's something different even.
