These songs by D.M. were more popular than Enjoy The Silence in UK in their day. “People Are People” (1984) - Peaked at No. 4. “Barrel of a Gun” (1997) - Peaked at No. 4. "It´s no good"(1997)-Peaked at No.5. “Precious” (2005) - Peaked at No. 4. And those songs reached the same place in the UK charts as Enjoy the Silence (No.6.) "See You(1982) "Everything Counts" (1983) "Dream On"(2001) Back then, you had to physically buy every single, either on vinyl or CD, and no copying in the same quality was possible. So what at least in the U.K. refers to "Enjoy the silence" there according to these numbers it was not the most popular song on D.M. Also in Germany this song with no.2 was not the most popular DM song there. No 1. there were D.M. songs "People Are People" (1984) and Dream on (2001) Same number no.2. peaked songs "Master and servant"(1984), "Strangelove" (1987), "Never let me down again"(1987), "Only When I Lose Myself" (1998), "Precious" (2005), "Martyr" (2006), "Wrong"(2009) and "Heaven"(2013) You can see here that Depeche Mode are really a band with many hits.😊

But you don't care that you do, because it hurts less than the heartbreak.. You stop caring, you start "living", while you just destroy yourself by doing so.. You try to fit in with the chaos, but you start to wonder "Why am I doing this to myself? Wtf do I have to do to feel happy if even all of this doesn't?"

Hello! :) Thank you for checking in. It's a strange dynamic at the moment where I hope to come back one day, but I need to grow as a person and do some character development first. There have just been lots of events since I last posted that have taken a toll on me, and I am in the process of therapy and self-improvement at the moment ❤️ Social media also just worries me quite a bit with all the 'cancelling' and negativity so that weighed on me a lot for no particular reason as an anti-social person. On top of that, a bunch of people at my old workplace came across the channel and well-- 😂 After a couple months I had to leave since it was a running joke that at the time really just embarrassed me I suppose. So I plan to keep the channel, and then once I am happy with where I am in life, I would love to give it another go. Not sure how long that will be, but I'm super new to the 'adult life' so I'm just needing to figure out what direction I want to go, fix these mental issues, and get that spark back. Always appreciate the support you and others have given me, so I do hate that I left just like that. But I'm going to just continue with my journey for now, and once I know I can do public stuff such as KZbin without lingering issues, I might give all of it another shot :) Thank you. Thanks for your fun Cabs reactions. Its too bad that they disbanded but if you want to hear some other cool Japanese math-rock stuff I think the band with the most modern and unique sound today is Sokoninaru. They are a math-ish power trio that combines complex math-rock elements with smooth J-pop vocals and have very good non fluffy lyrics. If you are interested in checking them out a great introductory song is Brilliant City (MV) or if you want to jump right into their math-rock deep end then the song Saitei 最低 (MV) would be a good choice. They are not for everyone but are a group I think you would really enjoy. Hope you check them out and thanks again!

In our uk law at least you don't actually have to sign a formal contract. A verbal agreement and yes a simple shaking of hands is binding. Or at least it used to be. Contracts only act really to spell out the details and crucially the small print, and to make any legal action easier as a means of evidence. But if you do speak the truth in court and admit to a simple verbal agreement all that needs to be haggled are the details of said agreement. This was released under their own steam and not under contract with Mute so I'm pretty sure this must have been on their minds at the time.

12:24 He wasn't green screened in. It looks like the entire thing is just being shown in reverse. You can tell how his lips don't match up except for the final line which is still a bit off so he likely practiced mouthing the movements backward. A better way to do this would have been to switch to playing normal footage when it zooms in for the close up as the animals would no longer be visible.
