*Yewwhh!* 🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽 Riptide's service is amazin, always. Personally I love Venom and Blood Orange bushings (less bouncy than Riptide Krank) but yeah washers make a big difference! Worth tryin chubby shape bushing board-side in the rear for even more stability. Also worth tryin a cupped washer on the front, board-side, and keep the flat washer road-side. Stability+carve 👌🏽 Different brands use different colours, even for different formulas so ignore colours... Just makes it easier to know which colour is what duro, for that brand at a glance. (colour/dye does effect urethane but that's a pandoras box lol) Great video dude, subbed 🤙🏽

Thanks for this vid. I watched Scott Davie's vid too and went off his recommendation, as well. Got a set of 93a Riptides for front and back. But my board is the N3. Thanks for pointing out that the rear street side washer should be the cup style. I originally set both front and rear with the flat waster on street side. The rear felt way too loose, even when tightened all the way down. I then put the cup on the rear street side, still too loose. Then I put in the stock black bushing on the board side, and the riptide on the street side with the cup. Feels so much better. Still need to play around with the bushing tightness, but I think the mixed set up is the right configuration for me. The board feels loose for turning, but no wobbles at speed. Feels weird bc the N3 feels so dampened from factory. Now the board feels and even sounds like a more traditional skate board. . I'm 200 lb for reference.

I had the same idea and bought a helmet that has similar light set built in. I liked it because I think lights higher up should be more visible. Unfortunately, it’s poorly built and after one replacement, I only got it to work one time, which is the group night ride of 2024 Esk8con in Vegas. Since then, the battery seems to be dead. So don’t buy the Ironman looking helmet on “Am___n!” Then again I hardly ever ride at night and don’t think I bother to use turn signals. Cars seem not to even notice me on the road in day time! Like your superhero outfit! Maybe just missing a CAPE 🤓

I also put the signals on my helmet before too with 3M tape on it. It worked pretty well but i have 2 helmets; one for night ride and one for morning ride. Right now it is the summer so i rarely have to ride at night since my job ends when sun light is still out so i dont have to bring out my night outfit. I wanted signals on 24/7 so that's why i transferred it to my board.

I've experienced sleep paralysis more often as a kid but not so much as an adult. When I was 9 I woke up paralyzed, couldn't move or say anything. I saw a faceless, cloaked figure standing bedside, sort of looking at my direction. It was pretty terrifying because I couldn't move or call for help. But eventually I snapped out of it and the cloaked figure disappeared.

If you can turn / spin the bushing Washers with your fingers they are too loose, you want the washers tighten up where you Cannot twist turn / spin the Washers around with your fingers ONCE you got that Starting Point Secured then give tweak / tighten it with half turns test it then tune again tighter if needed. I have my setup from Washers secured / unable to turn with fingers about a full turn to full turn and a half. If you over turn your bushing till they get squished they don't perform correctly Unless you buy the weird Squishy Krank bushing that i never tested. I use on my DKP Trucks Barrel & Cone Bushing with Cupped Washers in a very odd setup Soft Barrel/Cone board side then harder Barrel/Barrel road side. Hard to explain I would need to make a video on it to be honest.

Just don't fight the sleep paralyses. Your consciousness is probably trying to astral project and you are resisting it. I am not even trolling. I used to get sleep paralyses occasionally, not as bad as what you are describing, but I didn't resist it this one time and just stayed calmly aware even when I couldn't breath and I started to get this vibration in the middle of my head and the darkness started to get bright as the vibration starts getting much higher. After that everything went back to normal as if the sleep paralyses was gone and the vibration was gone but when you get up out of your body you aren't in your body anymore. If you look at your body its just this faint blue silhouette of your body. I got up and walked to the kitchen, it only lasted like 15 seconds. But after that incident i've almost rarely ever had sleep paralyses. I've just had moments of being aware of it but all the resistant I put up against it is gone and the sleep paralyses just subsides like nothing happened.

I’ve had it my dude. In the end I got diagnosed with narcolepsy and I barely have any of these paralysis after 8 years. If I went back in time to when it all started I would tell myself these tings: 1. Stop all stress. Yes. Cut in half your work or even let yourself stay without it for a year or so. Go to nature, further from WiFi and mobile connection. 2. Start drinking herbs. Mint, lavender, camomile, etc. find a blend that suits you. Try playing with gaba tea or glucosamine. These adjust your sleep cycles. Try one at a time. 3. Make a sleeping schedule. Cut blue lights a few hours before. Adjust it to seasons : in the summer you go to sleep later and wake up earlier. 4. Swap coffe to chicory 5. Use essential oils for relaxation. Myth works nicely to stimulate hypothalamus so it might help if it’s connected. 6. Check adrenals and hypothalamus. 7. Go to kinesiologist to adjust your muscle tonus and blood flow. Hypertension can cause a feeling of alertness for body and it’s a vicious cycle. 8. Try visiting Ayurveda or tcm doctor. They work differently and might help with adjustments that conservative medicine won’t understand. 9. Soundbaths for relaxation 10. Magnesium. Baths with it for muscles and supplements for nervous system. I sincerely hope that something from this works and that you literally will listen. For me most powerful was distressing (I cut studying and working for a year and a half completely) visiting kinesiologist and herbal medicine and sound baths. Also a useful thing for me was my spiritual journey. Cleansing aura, loving space and changing mindset. When I have sleeping paralysis now I just attack my fears with love or call my spirit guides with mantra. Mantra to shiva called Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is really what my brain remembers as something dispelling fears and it works. I hope that it doesn’t sound like idiocy to you, because I guess such an advice would be a blessing for me 10 years ago. Sending love 🤍

There are those who enter a thoughtful, mindful or meditative state on command and can make muscles, organs or 'functions' of their body activate 'at will'. I heard that some people who choose to seek these abilities can even stop their own heart if desired. Perhaps then, this kind of skill or mind-set or whatever phenomenon it may be, is the key to your own survival, the ability to overcome the 'force' of your body's natural defect to paralyze you breathless. Your logical thinking and feeling mind must think and feel a way to be more forceful or 'active' than your strange bodily tendency. That is, to merely 'think with forceful intention' that you want to breath again and it is so. Only once have I ever in my life suffocated in my sleep from nothing, and awoke frightfully and frantically. It was a harrowing experience, and I was in a sleep/dream state in complete darkness in my mind, when this static-y panic-y feeling/aura started coming towards me from the middle of my vision. I could feel I was dying, and something was overtly wrong, as at the same time "The face of death" or this screaming skull/face engulfed my whole mind. At the last moment, the message crystalized clearly; I was about to die. I awoke barely, with such a pain in my head and severe confusion and static in my vision, pins and needles in my hands and legs gasping violently for air.

You know the problem isn’t sleep paralysis right? Your body is paralyzed whether you’re conscious or not, so the difficulty breathing will happen regardless. The problem is sleep apnea which obstructs your breathing and there are ways to prevent it. This is coming from someone who experiences both

I wonder if there is some kind of machine that exists or could be developed to detect these states and send an electric shock or something to wake you? Idk... Just seems like we should be able to figure out a way to solve this problem. I've experienced sleep paralysis many times, but nothing life-threatening like this. I hope your girlfriend or someone can stay with you just to make sure you're okay. Also, this might be moot, but panicking typically makes the paralysis harder to break out of. One strategy that worked for me was trying to stay calm and concentrate on something very specific, like concentrate on trying to make a single finger move.
@FitnessSushi
@FitnessSushi 2 ай бұрын
ooh yeah i actually do practice that... concentrating on trying to move a single finger also works! Having a machine like that would be game changing 100%. I never ever had someone wake me up during a sleep paralysis state where i needed it the most. I want to know how the feeling is to be woking up directly by someone else. I feel like i don't think i'd still wake up no matter how much a person tries to wake me up. itll have to be my own doing i feel like
