One big problem with Story in ZZZ are... Most of em are in the trailer and Teaser... And TV died for generic Bangboo platfromer... TV are so good in chapter 2-3 of the game, Its peak in Rina story mission. T-T Also its a ghaca game... They need to released the patch on time. The 1.3-1.4 are so rush. Its like they meet the 3-4 hrs. quota and then need to push the patch out.

i think your take on the pubsec cutscene makes you look disingenuous. first off it's a surprise smokescreen and they were waiting for a attack . you used the bird eye view we got to justify your take but the characters didn't have that view. seth is good to a fault he saw the hostages and made a quick judgement call which got some of the hostages from being taken. of course it didn't matter given a undercover cop was in that same gang and everything was under control

I think zzz overall is definitely not a everyone type of game and due to stiff competition zzz underperform when you compare it to their 2 big sister hsr,genshin and also next year with more upcoming openworld gacha like endfield,nte,etc tbh zzz will have a hard time competing in the gacha space but it'll definitely be hoyo hidden gem.

ZZZ was never in the red in the first place. Yes they're not earning as much as genshin and HSR but they're still earning. 8 digits revenue a month. They're doing great since launch.

The game has come a long way since release, but one of the things I appreciated the most is how quick the daily's are. There would be some weeks that I wasn't really feeling the game, but I wouldn't mind running around for 5 minutes and getting the daily rewards and using the daily stamina. When I started playing again I wasn't trying to catch up with everything. Other games I played would have you clicking around for at least 20 minutes or more to do everything daily to improve their engagement numbers, felt like hoyo respected my time more.

Good video and in depth analysis of the story. However, do not underestimate the depth the gameplay and the endgame teambuilding provides. It's very fun to theorycraft and come up with teams to do endgame missions. The gameplay alone was for me at least enough to keep me going. Also the dailys are done really quick when one wasnt in a mood to play much, so it wasnt as tedious as other gachas to keep up with. I think you summarized it really well with "its easy to play casually and also offers a lot depth for the hardcore fans." They really did a good balance there.

Yup gave the game a second chance after I heard they removed TV mode. Holy shit its so much better.

TV mode was a hard no for me. When I saw it in beta, I couldn't believe that the mode was so time consuming. When it wasn't dramatically changed before release, I stopped paying all attention to the game. I'm glad to hear that Hoyo is listening and improving the game. Someone on the Genshin team should really get their head out of their.... and so talk to the HSR and ZZZ teams about how to improve a game. Thanks for the update.

Miyabi is probably the best character hoyoverse has ever released. I implore anyone who's on the sidelines thinking about pulling for her, to actually go and do it. I 99%'d the new hollow zero mode running her+lucy+lighter because her gameplay loop is just too fun. My initial opinion was that she wasn't worth it without yanagi. I was very wrong. She's incredibly good as a standalone unit. I wasn't doing tower past floor 30 because it was so obnoxious to do so without having caesar/jane. Now with Miyabi and blasting some PGR music and I climbed from 30 to 45 in a day. She is so fun to use. 1.4 was such a godlike patch in the entire history of hoyoverse.

Talking about caring for their craft, the videos you make are a real gift that no matter what is going on around me, I cant stop watching until the end. Well timed edits that fit the narration, great emotional voice over, a story to tell from start to finish that I can't stop watching! Great video Pocket, you made me care about something I don't even know about.

I started playing ZZZ in the latest patch and out of the 2 chapters I've played so far I've enjoyed myself. It's nice how they give you characters to continue through the story so I don't have to dedicate myself to yet another gacha game's set of dailies and *seriously* build characters.
