Not a good idea to plug laptop into power source at the same time as the controller. It will fry your laptop.

How to change Drive Rating ID (parameter 07.03)?
@filipelima9992 жыл бұрын
It's a read-only parameter, it shows the rating ID of the drive. If you need to change this value you should contact your local ABB service team.

My VFD has a different problem, My VFD wont allow me to Restore, it always say "Drive is in Auto mode, press OFF for manual control" Fault on the VFD shows "I/O MCU not ready" message: If your device is IP55 the problem can be fixed by starting the drive with the internal fan disconnected. then connect the fan back to the drive and the problem should not occur anymore. please make a video on how to perform this troubleshooting. THANKS

I've just read the full story in the Sunday Times about allegations of corruption at a very high level regarding this project. It is a shame that a Swiss company like ABB is involve in this. This is what you get if you put the wrong guy as a CEO. Shame on you ABB people, you are not better than Siemens. LOL

From an organisational perspective ABB Southern Africa is committed to providing training and development opportunities, as such skills development is a key business imperative. Our organisation invests in a variety of development programmes that are aimed at providing young people from the community with the opportunities to gain experience and exposure within industry - helping to alleviate the shortage of key skills in engineering disciplines.
