BTC is totally traceable, not fungible and relatively clunky and expensive to move. Nope, not liberating nor effective as a CRYPTO currency. BTC is a totally horrible "investment". Monero is everything Bitcoin wishes it was.

Thank you for your question. I see it simply as digital gold. It’s a place to store value that can’t be eroded away. Makes sense in the digital world. It’s superior to gold, since more gold can be mined and it can be harder to sell. That’s my two bitcoins, not financial advice of course. Just share what I do.

Hi Mike. I like IBIT personally. Still getting BTC exposure and professionally managed. I’m just sticking with 2-5% of assets. But, like art (your expertise) it’s about supply and demand. The supply demand calculation on Bitcoin is going parabolic. Of course I don’t give advice, but in my view, if someone has all their other ducks in a row (manageable debt, healthy 401k, balanced family budget) why not gain some exposure to BTC.

@ I agree. I was highly skeptical before but now the risk/reward has turned more favorite as you’ve been pointing out. I don’t know if I should continue to sit it out and try to pick my spots or just jump in. I think I may just add a few positions incrementally and let it ride.

Oh man such memories. At one time I had the entire collection from the blue, the green, the red, the yellow, and the orange. As I recall each set had part of a picture on the back of each card. So you could put them together to make one giant picture.

Nice video Greg. What avenue do you use to buy Bitcoin? Seems to be a lot of options with the various ETFs and things. Might pick up a small amount like you are doing for some exposure to it; some option through regular brokerage would be convenient.

Hi Mike. There are so many options now. 3 main ones: 1. Through a trusted exchange like Coinbase. 2. Once bought on exchange it can be transferred to a cold wallet, which is basically a $100 hard drive. 3. Through a spot ETF through a trusted brokerage account. In other words it’s super mainstream now. I do believe it will have volatility, but I’m holding a modest amount for diversification. Hope you’re doing great!

It's nice to hear some positives (like that it was decisive), from future investment perspective. During the first election there was the "Trump Bump". This is a short term phenomenon, but longer term curious why small caps, and which sectors do you think will benefit. I could see an easy argument for energy, but who really know?

Last divorce and the covid, killed me financially, got maybe 150 bucks worth of sellable vinyl left, the good cassettes are gone, selling off the vhs now, and hav 3 pinball machine from the 70s, all need part's and one arcade machine maybe 400 been trying to sell it no hits yet and one guitar and a drum set. Single dad raised 2 out of 3 kids Single. The house is only worth 70k cheaper rural area. So my retirement is sell it all and buy a camper and hopefully an acre to park it on and wait.
