This didn't age well. It appears that regulated suck (use more power, need more power injection, stops working at a higher voltage) compared to resistor pixels.

This is fantastic content. One question I have, however, is given the 5-10 dollar transmitter option, there is a single solder point for a basic 75 CM antenna. How does one affix a coaxial connection to that point for a hookup to a homemade dipole antenna? I made a dipole and am using a Balun coax transformer so the upper lead of the dipole is on the coax center conductor. Given the type of transmitter mentioned, would one just have the center line conductor solder to the antenna out connection on the transmitter?

So your snow machine isn't hooked up to Fpp? I currently have mine running with DMX throughout the whole song. It would be awesome if it would disable or enable that DMX port without needing to restart FPP programmatically. Then it wouldn't matter what song is playing as long as it's programmed in.

I have a question about connecting a dipole antenna (one that I will make) up to a DSP PPL FM Transmitter. Would I connect the center wire up to the Antenna connection on the transmitter and the "shield" wire to the GND on the back of the transmitter?
