There is one quote of him missing (not counting what he says to Heihachi, as this was made before his release). He says something when absorbing an attack with the Imperial Wrath power crush Parry. Do you know what he says?

I think he says 消えろ! (kiero!) which means ‘Get lost!’/‘Disappear!’. I’m going to re-do this video, so I’ll be sure to include this line!

Jun has been my favorite character. She was the first character I played in Tekken 2 back in '96. At the time, I was only able to play Tekken 2 on the demo disc. Now, since Tekken 8 has been out, I have been using Jun. Sure, I've tried other characters, but something about Jun, using her comes natural to me, I guess. Great video, by the way! My top outfit has to be the player 2 outfit from Tekken 2. I like the one in Tekken 8 also, but every time I pick an outfit, I always choose the tekken 2 costume.Jun has been my favorite character. The thing is, that back in T7 lava was not the cause that kill him; Kazuya's (patricide) fist did first and then he tossed Heihachi's dead (or so we thought at the time) body into lava.

that’s true. though, it’s just hilarious to me that he’d say he had the perfect lava bath like, he woke up in the lava he was in and got ‘resurrected’, I guess. it’s not the first time they’ve done this, but now… I guess Heihachi is superhuman!! 🥴

Not a VF fan, so this is news to me. I'm used to SEGA being friendly to darker skinned characters.... For example, I can name Laia Martinez and Alfort Tylor from Phantasy Star, BD Joe, and Skate from Streets of Rage as a few black SEGA characters. So it's a little shocking to see that this passed back then.

Although his inclusion in this game makes zero sense, glad he's back. Heihachi main here, at 17:04 he says "Muda ja" after a successful counter using Back 1+2 and getting a heat engage off of it. Sometimes you end up hearing that a lot in fights due to how easy the counter is to use repeatedly.

Really great video, thanks for all this info! I'd like to add that when Heihachi does an electric, he says "sorya!" which is a kiai aka an exclamation used when fighting to control breath, tighten core muscles, or to intimidate the opponent, expresse confidence and other purposes. Also, when he does CD 3, you didn't cover what he says, so maybe we could get some context?
